Hurt

When people hurt me, it's an opportunity for me to not hurt back. Its an opportunity for me to be merciful instead of vengeful. I don't want to be a person who hurts someone because they hurt me. I don't want to become bitter or cold hearted. I hurt deep because I love deep and I dont want some one else's actions to change that beautiful quality God gave me. So I will forgive everyone who ask. I don't have to let hurtful people back into my trust zone but I can be forgiving. I am who I am and other people's abandonment or negligence won't change or define me. I will not walk around like a crippled hurt zombie. I will aknowledge the pain but my joy and inner peace will remain. This is how I grow stronger. Being hurt is an opportunity to grow stronger in love and mercy.

Came to mind while reading Matthew 12:18-21

I was a slave to my sin... just like the Israelites were slaves to Pharaoh. And just as the blood of the lamb posted on the door post, saved the Israelites from death, ans set them free. The blood of Jesus saves my from the wrath of God (eternal death), and sets me free from my sins! It was my sin that put Jesus on the Cross! And I was no better than Barabbas, who was given undeserved freedom the day they shouted “Crucify Him!”.

God’s Secure Love For Me

What seeks to steal your hope? Your sin? Pain? Lack of understanding? Receive the love of the Father by faith, hope in it daily. Our hope is rooted in Jesus Christ.

Hope in the Father’s love. Are you entrusting yourself to Him? There is no other place where eternal hope is found.

Belief in Jesus = Dependence on Him as the One who died for your sins, BUT ALSO = Submission to Christ as Lord/The Authority of Your Life, WHICH = Surrendering to His will & doing what He tells you to do. Belief in Jesus is not simply something you say or feel but true belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior bakes itself deep into your being and changes how you live. Jesus said if you love Me, you’ll obey My commandments. Therefore, surrender & submission are not optional to followers & believers of Jesus.

God’s love for the Son goes back before the foundation of the world. God loves you with that same eternal love and chose to have a relationship with you before you even existed.
