Yvonne Venegas, de la serie “Notas desde la línea” VIA
and ever and ever.
The grim truth of juvies and droids desperately trying to cross the City line has nothing to do with rebellion. It’s desperation that pushes them to run the catwalk and knowing that even if they die just a few feet away from the concrete walls BLi won’t be able to claim them anymore. That as dirt settles and sun bleaches their bones or fades the serial numbers neatly printed on once shining chrome they will be buried as themselves and not just another smiling face

Thoughts on Destroya?
wanna be there when he wakes up.
trying to make my room look danger-days-esque for a 10 year tribute live stream tomorrow. my idea was “killjoy hangout spot”, dunno if i did it well enough haha
oh, and i did this kobra kid helmet in a single day. i plan on fixing it later :) i’m open to any suggestions on how to improve this thing!
rules.
understand where the borders are. they’re more obvious than you think, and it helps to know your location.
if someone wants to fight, then set your zapper to stun. death is a last resort.
always carry a rebreather. rad storms can sweep in without warning.
a ufo flies over the south of zone three once every few months. wave politely if you see it. it’s good luck.
don’t eat lizards raw. you’ll get diseases. also scorch the hair off tarantulas if you have to resort to them, or you’ll throw up and waste precious water washing the taste out of your mouth.
wear your color somewhere. it doesn’t matter where, just somewhere.
greet destroya when you pass by. you might not receive thanks right away, but he will thank you somehow, within the week. it may be small. you will still understand it for what it is.
there are patterns made with pebbles in the sand. don’t complete them. they’re not for you to complete.
you won’t find your mask straight away. that’s alright - you won’t get dusted straight away either.
the parade marches on the darkest and longest nights, on the solstices, and on hallow’s eve. listen to the music, but don’t follow it.
never forget to bring water wherever you go. if you run out, you may have to pray.
the phone box at the border of zone five rings sometimes. if you’re the closest, pick up the receiver and listen.
if you need a mailbox, you’ll find one. she’s watching. she knows. she’ll look out for you.
don’t ask what’s in power pup.
the zones can be pretty at night
