I just had a breakthrough in one of my stories and wanted to write it down before I forgot...
This is OF COURSE where my brain is like "What? Write? We don't know how to do that 😕" Awesome.
So how do I restart my brain? I think it malfunctioned again.
He wants some bread… 🥖🥐 Twitter I Instagram
[ID: A digital drawing of the front of a bakery, a small dragon sits outside on the front steps staring up into the window. Outside it’s dark and raining, the light from the bakery is warm orange, the window full of shelves of bread. The bakery is called “Indigo’s”, and on the window reads “bakery cafe”. /End ID]
[Image description: The same dragon now lays on a pile of bread with some chunks torn out of them, fast asleep in the backroom of the bakery, near some sort of fire with the racks of different kinds of bread all around the storage area. They are safe and full. Description on post reads, “He got his bread.” End ID]
Oh thank god
Huh...this actually helps a lot
*sweats nervously*
writing is a process appreciate your ficwriters
A strong start.
Reminds me of this I found a couple days ago
@thebibliosphere
I wish...
Me @ writers: you just make that shit up from your brain???
*squints at the three lines in Word that have remained unchanged for weeks* In theory
We make that shit up in our brain and sometimes that’s where it stays
nobody might not relate to this but im posting it just incase XD
Similar experience.
@ the people who write (writers, if you will) do you ever have a moment of clarity when you finally manage to connect one plot point to another and the words finally flow seamlessly somehow?
This is the express vibe I get tho when I’m in that situation:
I’m both
It’s definitely the latter.
Yes, and???
Image description: a tweet by Alexander Pennington that says
"Being a writer means having a story you want the whole world to read, except everyone who knows you."
🥺 Got a laptop full of them, and will probably never finish most of them! 🥺⠀
What does “ship what you want” mean?
It means: “Ship what you want.” The end. It doesn’t mean “Ship what you want exept…” or “Ship what you want but you’re trash if…” or “Ship what you want but if you ship x it’s my right to come after you and harass you and call you morally deviant and tell you to kill yourself,” or anything like that. It means: “Ship what you want”. Because people with even a minimal amount of common sense know that fiction isn’t, you know, real. And that authors as well as readers can differentiate between “This is moral and legal in reality” and “These are only words on screen and therefore I can do with them whatever I please”.
hey look it’s me
Inside of me there are two writers
One of them makes plans
The other cancels them
