I don’t usually do this but, here it goes..

For the past 3 or 4 years, I’ve been doing a lot of alcohol abuse and I’m not talking about the weekend I’m talking about every night . There be night’s I’ve been drinking god knows how much and be in work 3 or 4 hours later..

I’ve managed to get out of a unflexible spot but some habits are hard to get rid of..

I’ve been in contact with someone I know locally and he/she has shared some past experience of alcohol abuse(someone else) and I feel I’ve let them down especially tonight....

I just wish I was that person who can stay in Mon - Fri. Go out with their friends on weekends and just BE HAPPY. There’d be a Tuesday or Wednesday night when it’s 9pm, I feel horrible, I just wanna go out and get stop feeling shit..

I don’t know how to deal with this..

I honestly can't fathom how the general public think it's okay to talk to retail workers like they're literal pieces of shit. I had a customer make me cry today - she got so verbally aggressive because our store didn't have an item in stock for her child. She went into meltdown mode because the toy she wanted was no longer there but was yesterday and that 'surely some stock arrives on a saturday'. She then went on to tell me how I've 'ruined' her child's day because its all he's been talking about. Like it's not my fucking problem that the toy she wanted was no longer there. She demanded I search online. I tried explain that the tills don't provide access to the internet which she accused me of lying about so I didn't have to help her. Then she's going on an even bigger meltdown because I don't have the numbers to other stores and when I recommended she Google them she scoffed at me and said that that's my job to do. Like I go home and study other shop numbers and locations?! I was so angry at this point I wanted to jump over the counter and mill her face into the ground. Meanwhile it's 5:30pm this lady is holding up a queue and I'm the only one on the till, actually the only staff member in the shop because the other staff member had to cash up. She was calling me horrible names all over a fucking toy. A toy. To say I hope this lady falls down the stairs and breaks every single bone in her body and suffers brain damage while her child watches is an understatement.
