"You can’t go ahead and say that, then not give me the five dollars." She slapped her palm. "Hand over the five dollars." Blair scoffed-mocking her dance partner, shaking her head. "There’s plenty of people who get sandwiches in the morning. Just because mornings started at noon for you, doesn’t mean it’s an afternoon snack." She took another sip from her red cup, a smirk on her lips as she did so.
"One, I’m five five. I’m not that tiny. And you underestimating my body lifting abilities will be your downfall."
"Wait, you’re prone to aggressive tap dancing?" She looked down in front of them, he wasn’t at all on beat with the song playing above. It only made her want to laugh, much like most things Rex Neeley did. "All I ask is for a fair warning before that comes over you, I want to make sure I’m at a safe distance from you."
Blair nodded, slowly. He did make a point, she couldn’t help but kiss him whenever they met. Her hands traveled to his chest, her fingers tapping against it. She blamed him for that fact, if he wasn’t him, then she’d be able to control herself. “Is that you trying to tell me you have a problem with it? Because I could always not kiss you if that’s what you want.” Blair pulled away from him, playfully.
He paused, eyeing her with feigned suspicion. "Right, how 'bout I just take you out for an afternoon snack tomorrow. You can tell me more about your interesting new life and what not." Rex raised his eyebrows and tilted his head in a ridiculous attempt to emphasize his point —— it worked every once in a while. "And when I say afternoon, I mean afternoon. None of this morning bullshit you speak of."
"If that is a my downfall, I think I've done alright."
Rex immediately lifted and waved his finger in her direction, a tsk tsk falling from his lips. "It's compulsive, I can't control it." This was just another prime example of the ridiculous things that he would say —— it was a never ending cycle of sarcasm and random stories which made no sense. "I'm sorry. It's a disease."

Oh, that wasn't fair. He furrowed his brow at her tactic, comedic frustration washing over him. She might as well be a Jet song —— after all...........that girl's a genius. "You never know how much you enjoy something until someone threatens to take it away." This entire situation seemed a bit odd........especially considering the fact that he hadn't seen her in close to a year.
Supposedly, with some people, jumping back into old habits and conversation was easy.
