For so long we’ve all known. As I like to say: This ship isn't just seaworthy, it’s a goddamn spaceship.
From my perspective, I never shipped these characters at an initial glance until I first read Burning Tides. With each chapter, the realization growing more- Oh. Twisted Fate and Graves have shared a deep love- and that only makes their story just that more compelling. From then on I, as well as others on this lovely ship, have analyzed so many passages, moments, because damn these characters are just so much fun and their dynamic is invigorating.
Today something really special happened- it's been leaked (thanks SkinSpotlights and others) that TF and Graves Pride emotes will be released (presumably next month).
When I first saw these I was taking lunch at work and I gasped, I laughed, I checked and checked again in disbelief, is this real? Laughing again, and then it hit me- honest to god tears.
I think something anyone who is queer can relate to- or if you have lived with shame, fear, anxiety, self loathing-
To see this in the open- gay mlm representation in one of the biggest franchises, characters that may be fictional, but have captivated and brought so much happiness to myself and others- this brought a lot of emotions to me today.
Love one another, no matter what. But mostly, remember to love yourself.
