"Oh, so you’re compelled by my hotness, huh?" Ed teased. "Good to know. I’ll have to see how I can use that later." He grinned when he was presented with his flower crown. "Thank you. Can’t get through the day without one." And he leaned in and kissed Ling’s cheek while stealing another doughnut.

      "Oh, so this was all a ploy just to find my weakness and hurt me with it?" The Chinese boy pouted, his own flower crown knocked askew as he flipped his hair over one shoulder. That kiss on the cheek made him blush, though, and soon he dared to peck Ed's lips before reaching for a Boston creme-filled pastry.

20: Any of the Above—I’m gonna go with nose kiss ayy

      He wasn’t really sure of what had happened in the process of their movie marathon, but somehow, Lan Fan had wound up in his arms, and Ling had let them slide around her slim waist, chin resting against the top of her head. And now, the boy just felt so at peace with the world that he might’ve fallen asleep a few times. He couldn’t help it, though; school kept him busy with extracurriculars and classes, so it was difficult to fit an adequate amount of sleep.

      When Lan Fan turned around and said she was feeling tired, Ling just smiled and nodded, leaning down to graze his lips against her nose without a thought about it. He often showed his affection towards her like that, giving her kisses on her forehead usually, and on her nose when he was especially grateful to her. He sometimes wished he could have her company forever.

      “Let’s go to sleep, then?” he suggested, that kind smile never leaving his eyes, even after it’d disappeared from his lips. “We can finish the other films tomorrow, how about that?”

5: Firm Kiss

      It’d been roughly a month since Ling had seen Greed, after a longish stay in the West to do some Emperor business-type things. It’d been a shame to have separated after just reuniting after Ling had thought the homunculus was dead, but—well, duty called, and Ling had to respond to that. Putting the needs of his people before himself was his job now.

      So when he arrived at the palace, Ling’s first instinct wasn’t even to go find some of that delicious Xingese fruit he so loved in the kitchens—oh, no. Instead, he made a show out of running to Greed’s quarters, his heart thudding in his chest. He wasn’t sure why he felt like this, felt like he needed to see the man first… but Ling decided to just go with his instincts.

      “Greeeeeeeed!" he exclaimed, shoving the door open and tackling the guy, who, luckily, had been standing just close enough to his bed to land on it. Without really thinking about it, Ling leaned down and pressed his lips to Greed’s, his own twisted into such a gleeful expression that his irises were barely visible, that his cheeks had turned rosy. He was so, so happy to see his friend again that he didn’t even realize what he was doing.

"That doesn’t even surprise me, flower boy. And you know you would have snuck a peek if I was naked, don’t lie." And he stole a doughnut and ate it with a grin.

      "Okay, maybe a little peek." He grinned back at Ed, trudging over to the couch and plopping down as if he owned it. "But you're just so nice to look at that I can't help myself, really." Oh, right! His flower crown! Ling grabbed the circlet of cherry blossoms that he'd had on top of the doughnut box and got up again, placing it atop Ed's head. "There."

"You know, knocking is a thing people do," Ed said, leaning in the doorway of the kitchen, grinning. "What if I hadn’t been decent?"

      "Had you been au naturale, I could have obscured my view with my hair or something like that--" Ling quickly cut himself off to shove a doughnut in his face. "But actually, I kinda forgot to knock. My bad."
