Interrupting the DnD art with a little something else.

Every now and then I like to redraw one of my old pieces, whichever catches my attention at the moment, just see how I would execute the same idea with the skill set I have now. It's a fun way to see how much my art has changed and how much I have improved in the time between the pieces.

In the past I used to be a traditional artist, I preferred colored pencils, then alcohol markers, even when I had a drawing tablet. I was not comfortable with drawing digitally, it felt weird and not something I felt I was good at, so I used the mediums I was familiar with. Then I slowly started making digital are more frequently, and since around 2018 I mainly draw digitally. Occasionaly I like to draw with a pencil but it's only for sketching, and never a full piece like my digital works.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling, and look forward to a few more redraws in the future as I'm reworking a series I never finished in the past

Sister Amelia for Father Niwon. I knew even before I started working on the previous drawing that I wanted a matching set of Amelia and Niwon posing as a priest and a nun, y'know cuz of their not so holy disposition.

I missed a posting day but nevermind, I'm back with more Niwon!

Tbf this has nothing to do with what happened in the short campaign or anything related to that world. I'm just a simple person, who likes to twist religious imagery and roles a bit for funsies. Like posing Niwon, who is a tiefling, as a priest. It also matches with him being a cleric of the Trickster.

After Niwon let me introduce you to my friend's character, Amelia, from the same campaign. She's that particular red headed dhampir lady who has Niwon's attention. In some ways they couldn't be more different, but in other ways they're similar. Eventually they manage to make things for work them, even though in the beginning Niwon thinks Amelia is just a pretty thing that got attached way too easily, and Amelia only seeked Niwon out becasue she thought he was handsome.

Fun fact Amelia has live around ten times longer than Niwon 😂

I am once again attempting to revive this page, so let's all pretend that I haven't been inactive here for who knows how long.

Let's start with something new but I'll be posting older art too. I finally managed to draw my very first DnD character this year. The campaign itself started last year but unfortunately it fell through. However, I'm way too attached to this good for nothing tiefling, so everyone meet Niwon!

He's a trickery domain cleric, who is currently pretending to be a cleric of the Goddess of Wild and Night. He made some enemies in really high places and is laying low at the Goddess' temple until things settle down. He's been a gambler and a conman since a young age, and has a weakness for pretty people and pretty jewelry, especially a certain redheaded lady with fangs.

This is not his full design, I'll get around to make a proper reference sheet for him one day. Also I couldn't decide whether I wanted the drawing to include his feather coat or not, so I made two versions.

🌲🌠📕 "What'cha readin', some nerd thing?" 〰〰〰〰〰〰 HAPPY 7TH ANNIVERSARY TO GRAVITY FALLS!! I can't believe this show started 7 years ago, holy shit. And let's not forget it's also the birthday of Stan and Ford! I could go on and on how grateful I am for this show but let's not get sappy and I'll just say I'll love it with all my heart. I decided to celebrate this occasion by doing a screenshot redraw, as I seem to enjoy making myself struggle with detailed backgrounds. I'm so not used to drawing kids and it shows. But despite that I'm still happy with the end result and it was a good practice too.

He learns a lot about Bill and sirens in general but he always asks more and more questions out of curiousity and Bill usually answers them. The only ones he doesn't really want to answer are the ones regarding his past as a human because he only remembers a few thing from that time. It's all hazy and blurry and the only thing he is sure about is that the coin Dipper has belonged to him for a long time, until Ford stole it decades ago. But they don't spend all of their time in the cave. Bill takes Dipper to places that the townsfolk don't know about, and Dipper just can't get enough of it. It was always his dream to go to unexplored, unkown and new places and to discover the ocean, which seems to be coming true thanks to Bill.
