Google - Make Your Own Live Case - Reynald Gresset - Reset (2016)

To promote the Innovative Live Cases, Google released a series of groovy spots, created in-house and directed by Reset's #ReynaldGresset. Finding a smartphone case that really says something about you can involve some serious hunting, but Google just made that easier. It's letting owners of its Nexus smartphones get super-creative with their phone cases, with a Live Case creator tool. 

Google lets you choose a photo or a favorite place on Google maps, choose a finish and combine it into a case design that you can then order for $35. Perhaps the slickest feature is that the Live Cases also come with wallpaper to match. Those who customize their cases with pictures can create an album of matching pics for phone screen backgrounds, and those who create bespoke map cases will get similarly designed, interactive map wallpaper.

OnStar - Long Hug - Reynald Gresset - Reset (2015)

The "Long Hug" spot, directed by Reynald Gresset, opens with a man and woman hugging during what seems like a sweet moment. Then, the camera slowly pulls back to see lights reflecting off of them to show they that have just been in an accident.

The spot zooms out more to show the chaos that surrounds them -- firetrucks and ambulances -- further amplifying the gravity of the feature’s offering.

OnStar’s Automatic Crash Response can now detect how severe your crash is so they can send the appropriate amount of help. I like the spot's misdirect here.

At first I watched this with the sound down, as I do with all spots, to see if I can get it. And this spot relies heavily on the VO. Because even when they reveal the cops on bikes and ambulances there's no car crash in sight. I felt more like a scene in a romantic movie where the guy convinces the girl not to jump because "the other guy's not worth it-- it's ME you should be with!"

Mitsubishi Outlander - Rainy Delivery - Reynald Gresset - Iconoclast (2014) 

 We all have someone we love counting on us to arrive, so why count on anything less than a Mitsubishi Outlander.This 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander's TV commercial entitled Rainy Delivery is directed by Reynald Gresset for Iconoclast. 

 The new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander is a perfect example of where the Japanese carmaker is headed: into the heart of the market with comfortable and efficient vehicles. No more bold personality or high-performance image. This utility vehicle is meant to appeal directly to families in one of the fastest-growing vehicle segments, and it's competitive in a way that Mitsubishi simply hasn't been to date.

Tuna is one of the 3 commercials Reynald Gresset directed for National Geographic Channel's new branding campaign to support its cable TV network. It has been produced by Caviar Content. The campaign brings to life how National Geographic Channel takes viewers to places that they never thought they’d go.

Leroy-Merlin - Life’s Adventure - Reynald Gresset 2017

This piece, directed by Reynald Gresset, shows a house sailing on water--through idyllic and rough patches--to illustrate the phases that a couple goes through when renovating its home. Conceived for home improvement store Leroy Merlin, “Life’s Adventure” was directed by Reynald Gresset via production house La Pac. (Gresset is handled in the U.S. by RESET Content.). It was released in March 2017. 

The project entailed that scenes by shot three times: first on dry land, another time on a moving set and then finally on water. Taking place over a stretch of seven days in South Africa, the shoot was completed using divers, drones and helicopters to capture beautiful images, amazing landscapes and touching emotions.

IKEA - Wonderful World - Reynald Gresset (2017)

The ad was directed by Reynald Gresset and created by Rethink, which was recently named Ikea Canada’s agency of record. In the spot, the words and melody of ‘Wonderful World’ are paired with an array of scenes that show what a diverse, accepting world looks like. 

 At one point a teenage girl is shown putting a corsage full of red roses on another girl as the two prepare to go to a school dance together. Later, a little boy is seen painting his nails with his mom. The spot also shows a woman breastfeeding while chatting with friends, a man helping his elderly father shave, and a refugee family. 

 "We can all have the beautiful kind of world we want. We can all have the beautiful kind of home we want,” a voiceover states at the end of the video.
