No, it doesn’t stop you from following the tag, but it DOES hide posts until you CHOOSE to view them!

That way you don’t get fuckin flashbanged by actual fucking gore and can check the account to make sure before viewing. Yea pressing view on every post can be tedious but that’s at least a landslide better than witnessing actual fucking horrors.

The pfps are like a Z on top of some colours and they’re posting brutal images of both animals and people it’s really disgusting block and report any you see and I’d advise to unfollow the main tag and potentially the character tags? Idk if they’ve gotten there yet but stay safe
