This mansion in Germany once belonged to a doctor. When most of the family was killed in a car accident, and the lady of the house died shortly thereafter, it was left abandoned. The house is eerily full of belongings from these forgotten lives. From sheet music and framed photos sitting atop the piano and a typewriter still loaded with paper, to coats and hats hanging on hooks and firewood piled next to a stove long since cold, it’s as if the house has simply been awaiting the return of its owners for all these years.
