Style Icon Sunday: Gordon Parks is well for his legendary photographic essay for Time Magazine and director of Shaft starring Richard Roundtree. Parks started his photography career taking picture for a women's clothing store in St. Paul, Minnisota. In 1940, Parks moved to Chicago and began to freelance many fashion, life portraits and civil rights photography assignment. A lot factors assisted in making Sean's movie portrayal of Bond legendary. Mr. Connery's on screen debonair was attribute to director Terrence Young. Mr. Young showed the future on screen Bond how to act sophisticated in public and dress gallant. Bespoke tailor, Anthony Sinclair of Conduit Street, was responsible for completing Connery's dapper appearance in the motion picture and his off screen wardrobe.
