Reblog if you think it’s perfectly fine for a girl to date another girl and be open about it.
Like if you don’t think it’s okay.
6 Reasons Why You Stay At Your Crappy Job
Have you ever had the thought while you are at work why am I still here? Millions of people around the world ponder this question everyday of their working lives. Many stay at jobs they hate because they have no other options. A vast majority do it because they have to support loved ones be it a wife and kids, elderly parents or themselves. The global economy is still struggling to return to pre-recession levels of employment which has given employers the upper hand in terms of recruiting talent. Does this have to stop you from leaving a job you hate? Absolutely not but many stay because... 1. The Unknown People fear the unknown. This is a natural human emotion. Our brains are hard wired to stick with what we know. That is how we have survived as a species on this beautiful planet but is not conducive for life changing decisions. 2. Confidence Lets face it, a lot of us don't have a abundant supply of this when it comes to looking for new job. Self doubt creeps in from time to time eating away at our drive and determination to change. Am I good enough for the job? Will they like me? Do I match well with the job qualifications? These are questions that pop into our heads at the most inconvenient time such as a interview or a networking event. Prospective employers can smell a lack of confidence from a mile away. 3. Life This is probably the one that stops people the most. Change requires effort. If your jobs leaves you tired, it is harder to be motivated to look for a better job. We make excuses not to do it. I'm tired. My shows are on. Kids need help with their homework. These life events make change hard but not impossible. 4. Rationalization We as children are taught to look at the brighter side of things. Find the positive even in a bad situation. We carry this life lesson into adulthood. When our employers treat us badly or have unrealistic expectation from us we tend to rationalize these situations away. We say thing like "it's not that bad, at least I have a job" or "my boss was just having a bad day. He will be better tomorrow." That tomorrow never comes. 5. Bad Advice Everybody has a opinion about what you should do about your job. The people closest to you tend to give you the worst advice! They will only tell you what you want to hear. They will tell you that you need to stay at your miserable job until you find a equally miserable job to replace your old one! Friends and family might understand you but they don't understand how your job sucks the life out of you everyday. 6. Taking action Pulling the trigger and putting in your two week notice to your employer can be downright scary. Once you utter the words "I quit", there is no going back. There are no mulligans here. You are essentially breaking up with the employer and your co-workers. No more office parties or dress down Fridays once you turn in the pink slip. This is a step too far for most. A lot of people hate their jobs but are unwilling to do anything about their current employment situation to make life better for themselves. I hope this won't become you! Carpe Diem! Seize the day! Be bold and decisive in your decisions. Don't second guess. Just do. Live life. Be happy. Written by Robert Hall
The World Is Yours!
The world that we live in is always changing. Nothing stays the same. Not even yourself. Think about it. Are you the same person you were say 5 years ago? Life is a never ending vortex of colliding personal relationships in any given time. The people you talk to now, or spend time with will move on to new things and so will you. Our perspectives change over time, which in turn forms our reality and our feelings toward the world. Having a positive perspective on life can make things easier when you don't quite see the positive in anything. Happiness is within all of us to enjoy at any given time of day. All we have to do is open our soul to the world and see the beauty in nature and in man. The world can be cruel but look beyond the moment and look at the infinite chances to change your reality. The world is your oyster. There are endless possibilities for you to become what ever you want to be. The only thing that is stopping you is yourself!! I am guilty of this myself. I have been filled with self doubt and the lack of confidence. In the scheme of things these were small obstacles to over come. We all can overcome what holds us back. It is in our power to shape our own destiny and live life the way we want. Life can be simple or complex, which would you prefer?
Live Like You Will Die Tomorrow.
Live life the way you want. Don't let others dictate the way you should live. Who cares what they think? You don't have to please them. You are not a puppet placed on this earth for others enjoyment and satisfaction. Life is about what you want to do. Your hopes and dreams. Life is precious and fragile. We don't know when we will leave this earth. It can be today, tomorrow or 80 years from now. Why have any regrets in life? Do you want to be that person who wishes they acted upon their dreams but never had the courage to? I know I couldn't. To me not living like everyday is your last is akin to pouring acid on my soul. If you have a dream, pursue it. Haven't talk to your friends in awhile? Pick up the phone. Life doesn't last forever my friends. Grab your life by the reigns and take control of your life!
Anger
Anger is a powerful. Anger spawns creativity. Anger is rebirth. Anger is intense and uncontrollable. Anger is the passion that boils are blood. Anger courses through our veins lurking in the shadows of our hearts and minds ready to leap from our souls. Anger drives us to change. Anger unleashed has the majestic ability to transform the world. Anger should be embraced. Don't hide this dynamic force that lives inside all of us. Get angry. Feel alive. Change.
Become a independent! Say no to wage slavery! Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do!
Break free from what's holding you back.
Simple yet powerful.
Break free from wage slavery! Empower yourself to do great things!!
Life is too Short
Life is too short to sit around wishing things were different in your life. If you want to change things in your life, do it! Why wait? Want that new job, want to travel or make up with your friends or family? Take action today. We are creatures of habit and we don't like turbulence in our lives but sometimes turbulence is good. Change in our lives helps us grow and become better people all around. Life is too short not to try your best in life. Who knows next time opportunity will come knocking? Seize the day and don't look back. The only person holding you back from success and true happiness in your life is yourself. Believe in your ability to change your self and the world for the better. Love your life and everyone in it. Life is too short for negativity.
Live life like there is no tomorrow!
Leave Your Job Now!
Are you tired of going to the same dead end job? Are you ready to move on to something new? Are you afraid that if you quit your job that you won't find a new one? Many people have these same insecurity about leaving their jobs. It is human nature to fear the unknown. We as human beings don't like change, most people like stability and consistency. Any turbulence in our lives is disorienting. I'm am here to advocate that you should leave your job if you hate it. You only live once. Why be miserable? The world is filled with numerous opportunities to learn and grow. Don't be paralyzed by your fear of the unknown. Embrace change for good or bad. Change is good for the spirit. How do know if a job move will not work out if you don't try? Life is full of challenges, changing jobs on the scheme of things should be the least traumatic. Be bold in your decision to try something new. It can be scary, it can be nerve racking, but it could be the best decision you make in your life. Work is central to our lives so we deserve to be happy and motivated in our vocation. Embrace change and shake things up!
Say No To Debt!
Do you remember the anti-drug campaigns during the early 90's? They were everywhere. If a shady drug dealer comes up to you and offers drugs to you, our parents, teachers and politicians told to us to JUST SAY NO! If only life was the easy. I'm bringing back this example because when it comes to debt we all should JUST SAY NO! Debt is the root of most of our unhappiness. Debt erodes your ability to live life the way you want to live because you are essentially a slave to someone else. Think about it for a second. Payday rolls around and you have a nice paycheck and things you want to buy. Before you can buy things you want you have to payback your debts that you owe. So you pay your mortgage, your car payment, credit card bill and your student loan. Next thing you know your paycheck you just got is gone. How many of us are in this situation? I'm not going to lie I'm in the same boat as millions of Americans. Living with debt is a burden that nobody should have to live with. Living a debt free life allows us to live life the way we want. Living a life free of debt allows you to build wealth for whatever reason you want. Want to retire early? Want to travel the world? Want to start a business? Want to send your kids to college? Living debt free, makes all of these ideas possible. This is my ultimate goal in life. It is not going to be easy but I'm willing to do it in order to live the life I want to lead. What about you? Do you want to live for yourself or someone else? Lets start a discussion!
