A crop-top and a high-waist pants/shorts are getting too mainstream now a days, or shall I say for the past few weeks or months? Whatever.
I don’t care if the outfit that I’m wearing is mainstream. As long as I’m confident and comfortable with my outfit, I’ll go for it.
So, let’s go back to Basic. Shall we? :)
Oh by the way, it’s our monthsary today! 3years and 5months in love. Love my boyfriend too bits and pieces! :*

SUMMER CRAVINGS :)
These are my wish-list this coming summer. Actually, some of them are already on their way
1. Nike Bag - Summer is the time when I want to feel comfortable whenever I hang-out with my friends and boyfie.Shoulder/Tote bag are a little bit hassle that is why I prefer bagpack during summer time.
2. Studded Beanie - Sun makes our hair dry and dull. But a beanie can help prevent our hair from becoming dry.
3. Nike Shoes - I don’t know why I chose this as one of my wants this summer. Anyway, I just love it. I just feel comfortable whenever I’m wearing rubber shoes/sneakers.
4. Accessories - It is a must-have for me since I’m too lazy to dress-up formally this summer, so this can help add some spice to my basic outfit.
5. Round Sunnie - I’m not really obsessed with sunnies but I fell in love with this. However, this sunnie can also help protect my eyes, since it’s summer.

Quote of the day ❤
One of the most frequently asked question of my followers on Instagram.
There is only one application that I’ve been using in editing my Instagram photos. None other than VSCOCAM.
I am very much loyal with VSCOCAM, because it is the best photo editor that I’ve encountered.
There are many filters to choose from.
My favorite filters are A6, HB2 and SE3. But I often use the SE3 filter.
So these are the formula on how I edit my photos using VSCOCAM SE3 filter:
So that’s it!
I hope this would be a very great help and I hope you guys learned a lot.
Oh, wait! Why don’t you try to experiment with those filters too? Who knows? You might also create a cool and awesome feed on Instagram! :)

WHAT’S ON MY KIKAY KIT?
FOUNDATION:
I prefer foundation than face powder because foundation can even out my skin tone and gives better coverage than powder.
I need a lot of coverage for my redness, freckles and discoloration that is why I tend to go for foundation.
ALCOHOL:
Of course, this is a must-have in my kikay kit.
Our world is full of dirt and pollution that is why we need to have an alcohol in our kit. So that we will always be on the go! :)
BLUSHER:
This might sound weird but I have a fair skin tone. Without a little bit of blusher, people think I’m constantly sick or pale.
Nevertheless, it gives accent to my cheekbones and definition.
EYELINER:
Putting eyeliner on my eyes is my everyday routine, I can’t go out without putting eyeliner on my eyes.
I can live without foundation, lipstick and blusher. Except for eyeliner. Because it makes my eyes look fuller and bigger.
PERFUME:
I’m not really into perfume. Because I’m very much prone to allergy. I seldom use perfume, only when there is a special occasion.
HAIR CUTICLE:
My hair gets easily dry because of the sun. In order for it not to get damage, I apply this every time my hair gets dry.
LIPSTICK:
This is my everyday best friend. I love wearing lipstick because it actually bring out the shape of my lips.
MASCARA:
The reason why I’m putting mascara on my lashes because mascara coats my lashes with the pigments and other ingredients to make my lashes stand out.
In additional, mascara draws more attention to the eyes and can be used alone or to provide a polished look along with eyeliner.
CURLER:
I come to play with my eyelash curler when my mascara isn’t doing it alone or if I’m not in the mood to put mascara on my lashes.
However, eyelash curler help physically bend my lashes upwards, making them longer and larger.
HAIR TIE:
I’m using this whenever I’m on a bad hair day. It depends on my mood if I want a messy bun or a ponytail.
Well, those were the things inside my Kikay Kit.
How about yours?
Share us what’s on your Kikay Kit :)

Quote of the day ❤
THE MOST IMPORTANT LESSON I’VE LEARNED IN MY LIFE :
1. The pursuit of happiness is about finding meaning
Happiness comes out most easily when we love what we are doing, know what we are doing and believe in what we are doing. Happiness is not just about being happy, it is enjoying and living life to the fullest. Happy times pass, because time passes. All we have to do is treasure every moment and do whatever we want to do in life. But, we must also be aware of our limitations in life. Time is gold, seek for happiness.
2. You can’t force friendship
People who came into our lives has their own reason and purpose, to give us lesson.
There are two types of friends in life: One is, the kind that when you go away for a long time and come back, yet nothing’s changed. Two is, the kind that when you go away for a long time and come back, yet everything has changed.
We can’t force somebody to accept us, instead we need to find somebody who is willing to accept us in every flaws that we have. Having a friend who loves and accept us through thick and thin, is a kind of friend that we must keep and treasure forever.
3. The sum of the little things matters much more than a big thing
Each individual has their own plans, goal and dreams in life. We dream big because we don’t yet realize, we’re too young to realize. Those “one big things” that we say, those are actually comprised of thousands of daily small things that must be unseen and silently maintained over a long period of time with little fanfare.
4. Your parents are human too
Every child has acknowledgement, acceptance and perhaps, forgiveness of one’s parent’s flaws. If they scold you, let them. It’s their right and obligation as a parents. They just want what’s best for us. We even don’t have any idea what our parents had gone through their lives just to make us happy.
5. Be grateful
Everyday as we live and breath, is another opportunity that our loving father gave us. We should be grateful in every little things that we have, in every blessings that we received, in every chances that we didn’t take. We still have a chance, a chance to live and be happy.
6. Having enough is enough
Being luxurious and materialistic is normal in our generation. But did we ever asked ourselves, “Do I need that thing in my life?” It rarely depends on how much we’ve got. More is rarely better. Too much of anything can eventually become toxic.
7. The more you give, the more you receive
Some people give, because they eventually want something in return. When we give, we must free ourselves first on that expectation. We give because that’s what our heart wants. We give because we want to. We give because it makes us happy. Because in the long run, we will receive something that we didn’t expect we will receive.
8. Failure is good
Everyone of us tried so hard to avoid failure, but at least failure is the real evidence that we tried. Failure is all about lesson and experience.Because experiencing failure in life pushes us more to strive hard in what we want to become.
9. Be real, not perfect
Everyone of us has our own flaws, problems, etc. In short, no one is perfect.
Being real is all that matters, we should show other people what and who we really are. We should not force ourselves trying to be somebody we’re not.
10. You aren’t always right
We think that we have all the answers. Know what is right and wrong, good and bad, best for ourselves and other people. But, we aren’t always right. There is always more than one version. There are many perspectives that are much valid. We must keep ourselves open to the truth.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching!
It may be a highly anticipated holiday for many couples, especially if you’re celebrating your first or second such occasion with a loved one. Some people see Valentine’s Day as something more public than personal. Like a day for open display of affection to show off that they’re lucky in love.
So, have you already decided what to give to your special someone, husband or boyfriend this Valentine’s Day? No idea? No problem! :)
* I know majority of us girls tend to be creative and artistic. So why not give your boyfriend a scrapbook that is full of messages, sayings and pictures. Trust me, he’ll surely love it. Most of the guys appreciate efforts than expensive gifts.
* If your boyfriend loves material things, buy him something that is memorable and that could remind him of you:
- Watch: Put a message there, “I miss you every tick of the clock”.
- Jacket: This thing will remind him that whenever he feels cold and you’re not around, he could still feel your presence. Like hugging him.
- Couple Mug: So that every waking day of his life will remind him of you. You can also live a message (if he loves coffee) “I’m your coffee, you can’t live and start your day without me” Aw :3
* If your boyfriend is a foodie. Buy him a sweet foods. Like cake, cupcakes, muffins, etc. Oh, if you know how to bake. Then do it! This would mean a lot to him, swear! :)
Anyhow, for all those single ladies out there. Who said that Valentine’s Day is only for couple? Ofcourse not!
* You can spend your Valentine’s Day with your parents, by bringing them to their favorite restaurant.
* You can go swimming together with your single friends or go shopping!
* You can spend your time with your little brother and play his favorite video games.
* Parents not around? All friends are taken? Only child?
Go shopping or go to the beauty salon and pamper yourself. Get a new haircut and new haircolor!
As what others say, before we love somebody, we must love ourselves first. :)
Hope you enjoy reading and I hope that this would be a very great help to you.
Have a memorable and meaningful Valentine’s! Spread the love! :))
We had our Apprentice Experience (APEX) last year, October 20, 2014 (I know I’m very much late)
We visited one of the historical place in Intramuros Manila, the Fort Santiago.
Intramuros has existed for over 400 years. It was established by the Spanish colonizers as their bastion in the Far East. It walls enclose the original city of Manila.
Today, Intramuros has become a showcase of the Philippine history and culture. Inside the walls are colonial churches, ramparts, dungeons, and plazas.
The fort guards the northwestern entrance to Intramuros.
It was built over a 150-year period starting in 1571, over the ashes of a wooden fort built by Rajah Sulayman, the last Filipino ruler before the coming of the Spaniards. The fort served as Spain’s major stronghold in the islands. It looks out to the sea, its canon ready to ward off pirates and invaders.
Fort Santiago is now also known as the “Shrine of Freedom”, in memory of the heroic Filipinos imprisoned and killed here during the Spanish and Japanese eras. Partly rebuilt from the ruins of the World War II, it is now a park and promenade housing a resident theater company(PETA) which uses ramparts, old garrison and small chapel to stage both traditional and modern plays.
In additional, Fort Santiago is considered as the strongest part of Intramuros Manila. It’s a fortress built for the spanish conquistador, Miguel López De Legazpi.
Rizal Shrine, on the other hand.
It is the shrine houses items used by the national hero Jose Rizal when he was imprisoned here a few days before his execution on December 30, 1896. Among the objects exhibited are various books and manuscripts, sculptures, sketches, paintings, souvenirs acquired during his trips abroad, and a collection of colonial style furniture from his home in Calamba, Laguna.
Hence, the Rizal Shrine is the heart of the Fort Santiago, it compromises only a small portion of the entire premises. In additional, Rizal Shrine is a modern museum that was built in 1973.
This place is a must-go for all tourists, as well as students.
Perhaps that’s too much history to take in one sitting 😃
Everytime when we are together, we’re like little old ladies.
We’ll stay up late looking at old pictures, telling “remember when” stories, and laughing till our sides ache.
We become eccentric together - the kind of old ladies who take long walks, walk like nobody’s watching, and get away with acting outrageous in public places. And if anybody should ask how long we’ve been friends, we’ll say, “Oh, forever - since before you were even born!”
We become little old ladies together because a friendship that’s as special as ours can only grow better through the years.
Been watching make-up tutorials on you-tube lately.
I’m a make-up junkie so why not? Who knows I will be a make-up artist soon! Haha! Kidding. No, seriously. My dream job really is to become a flight attendant. I just want to learn more on make-ups since I’m a make-up junkie (how many times did I tell you this already? Haha! Proud! 😃)
Anyway, I just started first on the basic. Like how to apply on foundation, concealer, lipstick, etc. Soon I will be posting the STEPS.
2014 had been the most challenging year for me, I experience a lot of things that I’ve never experience before, I made new friends and whatsoever. But the most unforgettable moment that I had encountered in 2014 is the changes in me.
