Closed Starter: Curiosity Killed the Gem
The focus running through Rhyolite's body was rigid. It was very much so because of her nervousness; with a dash of regret for having to harm such green creatures mixed right in as well.
She took another step into the forest. Turning around, her eyes immediately went to WQ's eye for a quick second. She closed them and took a deep breath almost immediately, right before raising her arms towards the trunks of the two trees surrounding the gem.
Fingertips pointed, Rhy directed them right to the brown thick bark. They each laid onto it one by one gracefully- but, more-so gruesomely as the decay sprouted around her four fingers and thumb in circles. It crawled along the oak's thick skins, spreading quicker and quicker until it reached the grass surrounding each tree spreading to the ground as well.
Within minutes, the surrounding forest was dead. Well, not all of it. The small circle Rhyolite conducted only stretched from one Kindergarten canyon to the other. Nonetheless, the smell was rancid. And the withering plants slowly began to curl into themselves; falling over onto one another like a mass grave.
