Not much is known about Daryl, if that even is his real name. All we know is that Daryl is the owner and butcher of Tender Smiles. There are many rumors surrounding the big man. Some say he is a mythological figure who is as old as time, serving the best meat out there. Others say he is a serial killer and cannibal, responsible for most missing cases of people who used to be customers at his establishment and turn them into butchered goods. Some others just say he’s just an odd but normal guy who’s trying to make a living. But who cares about all that noise when his food is so delicious they are to die for!
Daryl is an intimidating odd fellow who doesn’t talk much but is generally polite and will provide what you’ll ask for. You’ll almost never see him outside his store. Some people say they’ve seen him outside at night though. He can get pretty possessive of things, whether that be people or his tools. You’ll almost never get anything out of him personally as he never gets into that. Everytime you meat him it’s business and business…is delicious

My OC crime gang, Team Malice. They do moderately evil stuff for their boss (the one with the white hair and purple outfit) and fail at it a lot because they suck at working together
The apocalypse has come and gone, and against all odds, Pharloom remains standing. The time has come for Hornet to return to Hallownest, accompanied by friends and allies: Shakra hopes to explore the mythical land beyond the wastes, and properly lay to rest a member of her own tribe; Lace fears unraveling without the aid of a Weaver, while contending with the immensity of a future free of her mother's threads; and the Green Prince lives only only to spite the Citadel, passively seeking a more honorable end than might be found in the rubble of his homeland.
Meanwhile, Hornet returns from Pharloom with magic and knowledge that might aid in the slow recovery of Hallownest and Deepnest--and perhaps offer the chance to call home the sibling she once thought lost to her forever.
Chapter 1: You Must Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth

Starting a long fancomic! Hopefully one that I actually manage to finish this time. I've got several chapters drafted out at least, and an overall direction that I want to go with all the character arcs.
Also, please note that this will tonally be very different from my previous Hollow Knight fancomics, focused on unpacking some of the heavier themes lingering after Silksong's True Ending.

The Green Prince: Despite my wishes, pale hunter, you again disturb this tomb.
Hornet: I beg pardon for my tresspass, tall bug. But this need not be your grave. The black threads have retreated... the citadel is fallen. The bugs of Pharloom build anew.
The Green Prince: ...
The Green Prince: What care have I for this kingdom's festering corpse? Let it rot. My life... My love... All died long ago. It is past time I joined them.

Hornet: I understand.
Hornet: I too have stood sentinel in the ruins of my home. For long, I believed my continued existence a debt that could not be repaid. It is a lonely damnation. And one wholly self inflicted.
Hornet: To live on is not the debt but its payment. Burdened as we are with the ghosts that precede us.

The Green Prince: What do you want of me?
Hornet: Nothing. I come with an offer.
Hornet: Soon, my companions and I will depart from Pharloom for my home caves. If lingering in this place weighs too heavy on your heart, consider joining us. The journey is long and perilous. The old kingdom fallen. But the land quickens. Life buds anew. Your strength would be a boon, foreign though it be.
Hornet: Otherwise, I bid you farewell, green one.
The Green Prince: ...
