Enji feels a wave of emotion wash over him—something akin to nostalgia that he's struggling to place. A sweet, fruity scent assaults his senses while sifting through the pile of fan mail he's received over the past six months, a perfume he recognises but hasn't smelt in years. Despite being the new number one hero, Endeavour doesn't get much fan mail, or have very many fans at all. The envelope is pink to match the strawberry scent that's attached to it, addressed to him in a curly, almost immature handwriting, surrounded by various colourful and glittery stickers. He stares at it, face like stone. Inside the envelope is a letter written on a lined sheet of paper. The edges are messily torn on one side, likely pulled from the binding of a notebook. Your handwriting is equally as messy inside; cute, natural and uncaring. Hey number one, It's been a few years, hasn't it? I hope you still remember me. We should meet up sometime and you can buy me my first drink now I can legally drink. Call me whenever you're free from hero work ♡ ♡♡ melk ♡♡

Everything is canon around the selfship. Enji loses Touya, has a rocky relationship with all of his kids, still married to his wife. I'm an additional piece a couple of years before but we meet up and start having an affair shortly after All Might steps down as a hero and Endeavour becomes number one.

Canon after this doesn't so much happen; especially not the Final War arc. Dabi does reveal himself to be Endeavours son and Hawks does get himself into bad shape, but beyond that, a lot of the canon doesn't happen/isn't mentioned (simply because I don't think about it)

SAVIOUR OR CREEP? THE FLAME HERO DOES IT ALL

#1 Pro-Hero Endeavour, also known as Todoroki Enji, was caught in private conversation with someone suspected to be over half his age. The young woman isn't associated with the Endeavour Agency or the Todoroki family as far as we know. Despite the sour reputation the Flame Hero holds, his family insist he is a good father who cares for his wife and children. Speculation begins after he was spotted in a dark, secluded area to meet with the young suitor. We have received no comment from the Endeavour Agency or Todoroki family regarding this story.

Thinking about my Enji selfship and it’s in the early days of us dating, he’s super secretive and really doesn’t want anyone knowing about the relationship (ykno, family and wife) and despite that he sneaks me into lavish hotel bars that are on the 60+~ floor and there’s almost no one there and drinks are egregiously expensive and I’m enjoying myself, dancing and climbing over the furniture looking out the big windows at the city and flashing everyone in the process and generally embarrassing Enji but also that’s what he enjoys about me even if it kinda bothers him a little

At the end of the night I still wanna stay with him but he refuses, saying he’s gotta go back to his home alone with his family and he’s firm on it and I’m not used to being told ‘no’ by him and he makes me stay upstairs until he’s gone so no one sees us leaving together and in that time I text dabi, my dick hook up to come meet me. He shows up outside the lavish hotel to find me stood outside with my shoes in my hand because my heels were killing me and makes a comment about how fancy the place is and you wave it off saying ur date is an ass and wouldn’t take you home. Dabi knows about your relationship (as in it’s a well known hero you refuse to indulge a name in) and knows you’re both only there for sex with each other. After a little whining he lets me ride his back so my feet don’t hurt.

We fuck and all that at his place, the usual stuff to make me feel better and he’s happy to oblige. Laying across the futon (that’s barely a futon and more just a pile of blankets) I watch him smoke at the balcony of his empty apartment and get all on my feelings over Enji and being rejected. It’s fun and nice but I still feel hollow about it.

“Do you think I’ll ever be loved?”

Dabi looks over his shoulder, smoke blown out through his nose like a dragon. With a melancholy smirk, he says, “Nah. People like us aren’t loveable. Not me and even less so you.”

It hurts because I know he’s probably right but there’s at least a little comfort in knowing he’s the same as me. We might not love each other like that and Enji might not love me in the way I want, but sometimes you don’t get what you want and you gotta accept what you can get.

Almost like an apology for his bluntness, dabi comes inside with his half smoked cigarette, putting it to my lips for a drag and kissing my forehead. One of his rules is I’m not allowed to stay overnight—not unless by chance the sun rises by the time we’d finished fucking—no matter how much I beg and plead and cry. Initially he wouldn’t walk me home, glaring at me from the vanity mirror on the other side of the room as he organises bags of pills and powder under a lamp. Eventually, he gives in, carrying me to the villain base and sending me through a kurogiri teleporter back to my apartment. I didn’t think I was going home and thought I was spending the night trailing around with dabi, being pushed into the dark abyss with him smiling and waving, thrown into my pitch black apartment alone.

HI FALLON!!!! sorry this has taken me so long to respond to i get a little panicked with selfship asks bcos i feel like i have to write out a big elaborate response (i dont) and i have to spend 6 months thinking about it (i really, really dont)

ill answer for toji, enji (mha) and rafayel (lads) since they have all been on my brain spaces recently <3

toji immediately knows my coffee order without me even needing to tell him lmao im a creature of habit and im so incredibly annoying and particular about how i have drinks and food and he's very perceptive to take note of what i like without mentioning it lmao he will make me an instant coffe with a little milk and half a brown sugar as soon as i wake up or order me a cappucino OR if its the summer and hes at the conbini, he'll get me an iced cafe latte with 1 syrup sugar :)

i know his too but it's because it's so very simple and easy lmao he isn't a coffee guy he just likes plain old green tea, he has a specific brand he enjoys the most at the conbini but beyond that he will just take a green tea wherever he is no bells and whistles

enji does not remember my order or how i like my coffee for the longest time and he very much does it on purpose LMAO it's not out of disinterest in me and what i like but more out of trying to keep the space between us as big as he can and delude himself into believing we are nothing in terms of a relationship, if he doesn't remember what i drink then he can for sure deny us (he hears me telling hawks how i have my coffee and he cant seem to erase it from his memory :/)

EYE however do not know his and i never will because he's a pain in the ass and refuses to tell me lmao same theory with me that if i don't know his order, i can't consider us in a relationship so if i were in a cafe i would just order him the sweetest, fruitiest drink on the menu because everyone likes sweets (he does not)

rafayel makes it his mission to memorise my coffee order as soon as he possibly can. the first time we're together at a cafe when i order he is asking the pieces he missed, veiling his interest behind concern that i'm drinking something so caffeinated (eye roll) but then he will tell me to come meet him at the cafe and my drink will be ordered perfectly and waiting for me

i know part of rafs order and how he takes his tea/drinks but it changes so often it's hard to keep up lmao he's a big fan of new drinks and whatever is on special like fruity summer drinks or ones with tons of whipped cream, he hardly ever drinks coffee but he has for sure surprised me a few times by ordering coffee's (one time i mentioned it in passing how he doesn't really drink coffee and he proceeded to order and drink black coffee for 3 weeks just to prove a point)
