Because it is Bram Stoker's Birthday, this is a post about Vampires.

Horror would not be complete without its fanged creations who while being both terrifying and dangerous somehow always manage to come out so bloody seductive (if you’ll pardon our pun). Deadline reports that True Blood’s Stephen Moyer has joined the cast of The Tribes Of Palos Verdes, the coming-of-age drama based on Joy Nicholson’s debut novel.

Set in the affluent Los Angeles suburb of Palos Verdes, the story centers on two teenagers who move to the beach community with their parents as their mother (played by Jennifer Garner) teeters on the brink of a nervous breakdown and their father (Moyer) becomes a surgeon to the stars. Maika Monroe was previously cast to play the daughter, Medina, who turns to surfing as an escape, while Cody Fern is set to replace Tye Sheridan as her brother Jim. Elisabeth Rohm, Goran Visnjic, Milo Gibson, Noah Silver, Joely Fisher and Stevie Lynn Jones round out the cast.
