I’ve kinda known this for sometime now, but I just confirmed it again recently: any period of time that I don’t have a song / songs constantly on my heart...something is not right. When my spirit is really strengthened and thriving, it’s always singing. Musical at its best state. Joy. This is me. This is joy.

Anyway, so I’ve been in love with this song for a few days now. Such simple lyrics but something about it so beautiful and powerful.

Okay. The Lord has been teaching me a lot about faithfulness in the past few weeks or so. It’s been a beautiful, healing journey. This faithful God of ours. A firm, strong anchor for your soul. In truth, we know that God’s promises have all been fulfilled in the new creation, but the words of this song are a testament to the integrity of God’s Word. Of His person. You can really stake your life on anything He has said.

Personally, I’ve experienced so much of God’s faithfulness this year. It brings me to tears thinking back. It’s even challenged my own reliability as an expression of God Himself. And it’s brought me peace in other areas. I hope I will write more about this topic in the future, but a deep revelation of how trustworthy God is will change you. Think on it. Be at peace.
