Hmm…
A long time ago, I saw this little guy in the pages of the Book of Spells and knew I just had to draw him. Why is he so pocket-sized?
This baby looks more like something out of a myth than a real species that exists on Mewni. And honestly, I love that; that's exactly what drew me in.
(By the way, if you have any favorite background characters or interesting designs that rarely get any attention, feel free to drop them in my ask box! I love drawing background characters.)
My comfort old ‘‘married’’ couple
Alright, guys, it’s probably time to finally explain what’s actually going on between these two.
The short answer is: their relationship is queerplatonic.
The longer answer is that no standard label like “friends,” “partners,” or even “lovers” really fits them.
They met back when they were young adults serving in the army. At first, they were just comrades, then teammates, and eventually friends. But what drew them together wasn't romance—it was pure compatibility. She was always the one brainstorming ideas, and he was the one who could actually turn that chaos into a solid plan.
Raven’d say, "We’re about to do something incredibly stupid."
And Toffee’d just reply, "Give me ten minutes."
And somehow, it usually worked.
They became each other’s favorite person long before either of them even realized it. But then the years started passing. Their mortal friends grew old and died. One by one, the people who remembered their youth disappeared. Eventually, they looked around and faced a pretty jarring reality: everyone was gone except for the two of them.
That’s exactly where their bond stopped being just an ordinary friendship. For immortal (or long-lived beings), memory becomes its own heavy form of attachment. They are among the very few people left alive who remember each other from the very beginning—all the victories, the failures, the people they lost, and what absolute idiots they both were at twenty. At some point, they just stopped carrying those memories separately and started carrying them together.
That’s why I don’t really write them as a traditional romance. There were no dramatic confessions, no grand love story. They simply became family. And after centuries of surviving the world together, the idea of separating would feel way stranger than staying.
As for where they stand after the events of the series... well. For the first time in their lives, they’re trying to figure out who they even are without a war, without a mission, and without some distant goal to chase. They haven’t completely figured that part out yet. But at least now, they get to do it together.

Raven with her canon pride flag from my original universe.
Honestly, guys, I don't even know how much this applies to my SVTFOE AU yet, because that story is getting pretty unconventional. It completely strays from typical tropes of romance and friendship.
I've noticed that I've always been drawn to characters who have zero interest in love lines, and no matter what story I write, it always naturally turns into a queerplatonic connection on a subconscious level. To be fair, because our brains are so conditioned by classic romance tropes, my mind sometimes tries to force my characters into those standard boxes. But whenever I reread it, it just feels so forced, alien, and unnatural to me. Traditional romance is just not how I see connections.
So for now, this art is less about the AU itself and more of a personal statement—a reflection of my own aroace identity and how it naturally bleeds into everything I create.
Not really into the lore, but into the vibe
Wanted to sketch ocs for practice, so why not sketch users in the fandom ocs (*^^*) Had alot of fun with this, really enjoyed all the different features I had to draw out. Tried to clean it up as much as I could but... yeah
All ocs belong to their rightful artist!
Nocturne - @cosskii
Raven - @riacawley
Elistafet - @precollst
Neryn - @dracolizard-septis
Kiora - @lizard-daddy-toff
Dante - @chispa-dulce
All great artists with dope ocs ^^ !
Toffee sketchdump + thoughts
I wanted to make my own version of him. Ria Cawley Adaptation, if you like. Draw Toffee my way — based on the original, but trying to refine it.
Honestly? The way they drew those reptile faces always kinda bothered me. Especially the main villain's. I couldn't watch him without feeling uncomfortable — his head kept changing shape from shot to shot. So I just did my own thing.
About the fangs — still not sure. Depends on context, probably. The whole "sticking out fangs" thing… I don't really see the point. Toffee isn't a croc. He's a lizard. I wanted a cleaner look. I get the original fangs are probably part of his charm, but in my redraw — I just don't see them.
What I do like is the anatomy: the long torso, the short legs. It actually feels like a lizard. No idea if the designers even thought about it, but it works.
I don't really enjoy drawing in the show's actual style, sorry guys. Maybe someday as practice — but not now. I just prefer sharper, more solid body shapes.
These are just messy sketches. I can't make full art at the moment, so I'm sharing whatever process I have. I've struggled with this more than I'd like to admit. Maybe I'll redo some scenes in my style later.
I'm not claiming any ultimate truth here, guys. My eyes are already blurry 🦅🚜
The Septarian Embryo
Before the suits and the diplomacy, there was only the will of a single cell to survive.

Here's some art of them. You know. Them. The ones who've been living in my skull like a cozy little hyperfixation apartment for way too long.I'm still working on solidifying their lore/canon, but the brainrot demanded an art drop, so here we are

SVTFOE OC sketch event (UPDATE: Slots are closed! Thanks for joining 🤍)
No open slots at the moment. I plan to reblog this post occasionally — feel free to keep an eye out if you'd like a sketch in the future
I've been bored and felt like drawing, so here's a little thing:
If you have an SVTFOE OC, drop a comment to claim your spot — first 3 get a halfbody sketch + simple colors.
Warning: I'll share the finished sketches on my blog (with credit to you, of course)
Rules:
— First 3 only
— Drop refs + any important design details I should know and a short character vibe (so I don't mess up their personality)
— No deadlines, just first come first served
(I'll do these every now and then, so if you miss it — next time🙌)
Let's see your OCs!
Toxic? Nah. Just ironic~
Huge thanks to @precollst for the challenge — I really love your style, man. Glad I got to join. Keep killing it!🦅
Never thought I'd actually post my OC, but here we are. This challenge gave me a reason to finally draw Raven — and honestly, it pulled me out of art block. One day I'll actually write down her lore.

Judge all you want. We deserve this crossover 🫸
Here's my take on the Septarians' fashion.
The canon jeans-and-tank-tops look for the Septarians always felt off to me. Why does such an ancient, proud, non-hybrid race have zero visual culture?
My headcanon fix: the jeans are their "present-day" survival gear. It's a visual cue that their glory days are over, their state is gone, and they're just wearing whatever they can find.
So I asked myself: what did they look like before the fall? In my headcanon, there's an earlier chapter — when they still had a cohesive culture, a proper army, a hierarchy.
Presenting a fragment of that lost time:
Toffee in a ceremonial look. This moment is from the end of an era: Seth's funeral. The grand state was already a memory. All that remained was a nomadic war-camp, the last bastion of a fading order.
Rasticore, his right hand and one of the best warriors in the ranks. I kept hints of his original, more modern design but reforged it to fit this older, more intentional aesthetic.
These are just my first concepts of their "historical" style. I want to develop a coherent, recognizable look that echoes what they once were.
Anyway, I'm deep in this hyperfixation. Consider this account my attempt to piece their culture back together from the ground up. 🔨🦎
