Even though I’m still going to make another entry for my favorite Paris (Haute Couture) Looks for 2017 but I feel that a few brands deserve a separate entry. Dolce and Gabbana has definitely landed on this list. Couture is where Dolce & Gabbana shines. Known for their aristocratic inspired recreations, and extravagant embroidery; this year presentation has taken this aesthetic to another level. “These combined motifs taken from Sicilian folklore, architecture, and long gone aristocracy were all recast in jewel, lace, sequin, floral embroidery, and pin“.
