"Hello!" Cheria chirped in surprise. She hadn't really expected to run into anyone so suddenly, but she didn't really mind, either. Cheria tucked her stamp card back into her pocket as she turned to face the other girl fully. "Sorry, I was getting a little lost in thought... Are you looking for something?"

Even when she was busy with her job, she knew that everyone needs a little break now and then, and Cheria was lucky enough to choose a nice, sunny day to take her free day. She was perfectly happy to walk around and let the sun shine on her skin as she went shop to shop with a few big bags.

So far, she had mostly bought some clothes and souvenirs, but now that she passed by a sweets shop, she couldn't help but stop and pause.

"Hmm..." she hummed. What would everyone want...? she asked herself. Chocolate truffles, cookies, cakes, sugary bonbons, fruits coated in chocolate and vanilla... Oh, now it was hard to decide...

That was when she caught the blond-haired boy walking in her general direction. "Excuse me," she started, trying to get his attention.

“Oh, Cheria! Hello,” Sophie smiled at her friend. How nice to see her on Lhant Hill. Sophie usually just went to the Hill whenever she had time, so she often came alone. Still, she liked company, especially when it was one of her friends or family. Cheria was both.

The pigtailed girl turned her attention back to the tree, her eyes finding the words carved into the bark. Asbel, Richard, Sophie, Lambda. “I wonder if our names will still be here in a hundred years…” She said aloud.

Cheria leaned forward to look at the carvings and hummed quietly as she thought of it. It was their friendship pact... Asbel, Richard, and Sophie's names already looked weathered compared to Lambda's, but they were just as clear as before. A hundred years from now, though...

After a second, she looked over to Sophie and smiled softly. She had a feeling she knew what Sophie was thinking about now, so she tried to sound especially optimistic. "I think they will be. This tree will be even bigger by then, so it'd probably be harder to find them, but I don't think your names will ever completely disappear." It wouldn't really feel right for their promise to disappear, either...

Sophie stood in front of the great tree on Lhant Hill, staring at the words engraved in its bark. She tilted her head, smiled softly, and placed a hand on the wood. So much had happened in what seemed like just a flash of time… But in the end, everything had worked out just fine. And that was what mattered the most.

Just then a butterfly, fluttering between her and the tree, snapped the girl out of her reverie. Sophie blinked, and then reached out a hand. The exquisite creature lighted on her finger for just a fraction of a second before the sound of footsteps alerted them both, and it flew away as Sophie turned her head. Who was it?

Cheria smiled at Sophie as she turned around. "Sophie! I thought you'd be here," she said as she walked closer to her through the flowers. Lhant Hill and its flowers really did look beautiful any time of the year; she could understand why Sophie would come here.

But Sophie wasn't in the flowers now. It was the tree she was thinking about now. Cheria peered up at the tree as she stepped out of the flowers. "What were you looking at?" she asked.

Wow, even their full names are similar…Happy sweatdropped at the comparisons. Wait!…Maybe she is the Edolas-counterpart to Shelia! Yeah, that would make complete sense!

Before he could open his mouth, Cheria asked about his relationship with the Blendi cousins. Oh. Happy sweatdropped again at the thought of his interactions and encounters with the cousins in the past. The guild that the pink-haired cousins came from, Lamia Scales, are close allies to Fairy Tail, so he guesses that would mean that they get along…

“We get along.” He simply answered, giving a small smile to the girl, “…Did you come from Edolas?”

"We get along"... Hm. That didn't exactly sound like they were friends, but maybe it was better to not ask. Besides, he seemed really set on finding out who she was.

"Um, no...I'm actually from Lhant, in Kingdom of Windor...if you know where that is," she answered awkwardly, hands clasped in front of her. She never heard of Edolas before, so it'd make sense if he didn't know where she was from. Maybe he was from a whole different planet!

Or maybe he did and he was just from a really isolated area that she'd never been to before... It was hard to say.

Oh, it’s finally off… Cheria sighed, though she felt sort of bad for accidentally attacking him like that (though he seems okay). After all, it wasn’t really attacking her…she thinks. He seemed more worried about “Natsu” than her. (But that made her wonder if she really looked that much like him that it was the scarf that gave her away. Happy did say “his”…)

Wait, he’s talking to her now. Smiling awkwardly, she replied, “Oh, me? I’m Cheria… It’s…nice to meet you.” Now that he wasn’t on top of her, it was clear that he was really a…winged blue cat. So it’s not so weird to offer out a hand to him to shake.

Happy’s smile grew at this kind gesture. “My name is Happy, and I am a blue exceed!” He shook her hand with his paw.

“So, your name is Cheria…” Something in his mind clicked. She also looks like Sherry’s cousin… what was her name? Oh! Happy’s smile grew wider at the realization.

“You look like Shelia Blendi!” Okay, it makes more sense that she looks like the Blendi cousins then Natsu! “Are you related to her or Sherry? Your pink hair and ribbons reminds me of them!”

"H-huh?" Cheria blinked in confusion. She had no idea what exactly an exceed is, but his question was a lot easier to answer. And didn't lead to any extra questions. (Lookalikes or not... Happy did just mistake her for a boy...)

She shook her head slowly as she suck his...paw. "No... Sorry, my name is Barnes, not Blendi... I don't think I've every met either of them before." A more cheerful smile came to her face as she continued, though. "Are they friends of yours?"

“Bug?” Happy said, snapped out of his slight trance. Now this is new. He was called weirder, but non-surprising, things (most of them in courtesy of Lucy), but this one was something he didn’t expect.

“Ay-Aye! Easy on my tail!” Happy cried, his train of thought completely cut when he felt hands slapping him. He dodged the flailing hands by flying a good feet in the air. He then finally got a good look at the girl.

“Okay, this is definally not Natsu. Natsu never ever takes off his scarf.” Happy said, in relief. Plus, I don’t think he will go for those…. tight ribbons. For that moment back there, he thought that Natsu did something destructive and came back being afflicted with some gender bender spell.

But if this- er, she isn’t Natsu, then who is she?

“Who are you then?” he asked.

Happy’s ears picked up his fur color.

“Yes, I am blue.” He spun around to see who the commenter was, but made a dramatic halt when he sees pink hair.

“Aye…?” The exceed then strangely became silent. His wings showed themselves and he then slowly approached the person, his eyes still locked into the pink hair. (If a outsider were to watch this, it would look like a blue furry moth is being drawn into a pink addictive fire.)

Happy flew close enough to the top of head full of pink hair. Without any warning, he lightly pawed on the hair.

“NA-NATSU?!”

Oh my gosh, it's like a humongous, blue bug!! Cheria screeched internally - and externally after it landed on her head. She doesn't know what a "Natsu" is, but this is horrifying!!

"Get- get this off of me!" she cried as she waved her hand over her head to bat the cat-bug away. Unbelievable!!

"Th-that cat is blue!" Cheria gasped to no-one in particular. Is it real? she wondered; she couldn't help but just stare at it--er...him, her? It...was alive, right?
