Taking into account All That He Is in the previous year
Here comes again the time of the year wherein we have to assess what went well and what are the things that made this year difficult. We also need to thank all the people and things we are grateful that 2016 brought us or allowed us to keep.
My job have been pretty torture thatās why I couldnāt find some time to even sit down and write something detailed for you but anyways, to pop that all out, here's a list of what transpired from my last 365 days.
January was a hell month for me and my Davao Eagle Online Team. We were very busy in preparations of the Davao Eagle Online's #DavaoYEPA2015 (Year End Poll Awards) of which I was the head. The event was very successful that it made a lot of buzz in the internet. The effforts paid off as the Globe Telecom bestowed to us the Social Media Advocate of the Year Award on its annual Media Excellence Awards (Mindanao Leg) last November 22, 2016 at Marco Polo Hotel Davao.
It was also in 2016 when I received a lot of invitations from the different restaurants and events here in Davao City (ALU Hotel, Italiannis, Villa Nilda, Pepper Iberica Resto, RBG Restaurant in park Inn Radisson, and Pizzeria del Trio) .
This year has been full of spontaneous beach trips and late night shenanigans (Dawis, Toril, Mati, Island Garden City of Samal, Tagum, Panabo). Last November, I and friends went on a trip together to Caraga, Davao Oriental, chilling on the beach and enjoying the waves. The weather was also perfect - a cool breeze all day and some crazy waves.
I went home to North Cotabato to celebrate the end of 2016, attended my friend's wedding, went out with my Kidapawan friends, and bummed at home.
It was also a year of personal growth. I took a serious look at my life and have been trying to make changes to live a more work-life balanced and more happy life. This will remain a top priority for me next year.
A lot more happened to me in 2016. I handled 6 training classes, became an official member of Davao Digital Influencers inc, received packages from Jolly Foods, Globe, Voyager, PLDT, NCCC, went to different places, bought a new laptop, and lived in three apartments within the year. Thatās a lot.
I hope you guys are having a great year! God has been so good that we ended a year full of blessings. This New Year I know that God has laid special plans for each one of us. So many exciting things Iāve been planning so, stay tune! Keep the passion alive, people!! An abundant and amazing 2017!! Happy New Year!!!
