jack was 100% the first of rabbot to call the other "brother" and robby just went along with it. jack didn't even realize he called robby "brother" until robby started to call him it back.

jack didn't call robby "brother" because he sees him as his brother. It's just the military man in him that is used to referring the guys close to him as brother. the connotations of what it means when jack call his other soldiers "brother" and robby are NOT the same.

robby on the other hand thinks that jack will never like him back because he got brother-zoned. he's stupid.
