Need someone else on my level rn -- John Carter as Holland March, Pope Cody as Jack Healy
I'm so sick
Y’all if it ain’t one thing…
Jack never admitted how much he loved watching Michael Robinavitch's movies but anytime the young man is on screen he lost his mind.
While all his baseball teammates were drooling over pamela anderson or Uma Thurman he wanted Michael "Robby" Robinavitch.
He keeps it a secret for him and him only
And if his fascination with the actor gets him into acting himself — well that's a him thing.
He certainly never expects to get a small part in a movie with him.
Or to go to a wrap party
Or for Robby to offer him a drink which leads to another and another
Or for the of them to end up in a bathroom stall, Robby on his knees, his mouth hot and wet around Jack who will never be the same again
And if Jack stupidly gives Robby his number its simply because networking is apart of the gig
And if Robby never calls — well it was just a drunken hook up.
Jack gets over it. He moves on.
Twenty years later Jack is asked to do an actors on actors interview.
Except the interview is with none other than Michael Robinavitch
Will a night twenty years ago in a bathroom became something more?
What is this? A slow burn romcom?
Oh Froggy, if "I'll Be Over You" is your magnum opus, then I sure as hell think your No Homo Universe is your chef-d'œuvre *chef's kiss* I have fallen absolutely in love with it since day one. And as a queer who's still scared of their parents finding out, the latest angst chapter really got to me (But in a weirdly good way! I loved every word of it!). Thank you for always blessing us with this universe <3
Thank you so much!! I’m sorry you’re scared; there isn’t really anything to say in situations like that, but know your existence is an act of bravery in itself. ♥️♥️♥️
Uhh soooo in my mind this takes place in the No Homo AU but like 10 years after those ficlets. That said, there’s basically no connection so don’t worry about reading those.
TW: use of the f slur
The warm sun is the best alarm clock Jack could ask for. Morning’s like this, lazy and easy with Robby snoring light and easy on his chest, are rare and cherished. Jack buries his nose in Robby’s soft hair and takes in the fading scent of his shampoo.
Somethin a wee spicy 👀👀🔥
Dear Noah Wyle let my man jack his hubby off (pun intended 😏😏
(Ey. Why ya’ll looking 🤨🤨 )
(Its ok I am too 💞💞💞💞)
rabbot rabbits
(for @jackabbotsdog )
med school rabbot drinking and flirting leads to play fighting which leads to robby layed out on the floor and jack doing pushups over him.
robby can’t find a spot to settle his eyes, jacks neck tensed with effort, the two drops of sweat heading towards his collarbone, his thick biceps caging in his head. robby is in sweaty man heaven.
now from here we either get robby goading him, “Brother you didn’t even go all the way up on that one,” “cmonnnn jackie you aren’t getting tired yet are you? use those muscles, what else are they good for?”
or jack torturing robby, inching himself lower and lower until he’s hovering just above robby’s face, “no words now eh pretty boy? bit of muscle in your face and you are belly up.” “should have expected it from you”
anyway then they frot.
Things of note in The Pirates of Silicon Valley
• The fake facial hair prosthetics are… well… I’m going to give them a pass because it’s a made for TV movie from 1999
• The scene of Noah riding a bike on an empty road with a heavy rock song in the background peak cinema
• “WHAT!”
• I personally love corny scenes of people getting high, so the swirly neon bullshit of Noah spinning in an empty room/field was fun for me
• If you are a Noah Wyle fan with a foot fetish this is the movie for you (I felt harassed by his feet and omfg his legs are hairy as all get out)
• A man in his forties gets bullied for being a virgin despite being married for 20+ years (this happens while Noah has his feet out)
• I like the longer hair, but there are times where it really emphasizes Noah’s hairline and he somehow looks like he has less hair than he does in The Pitt even though that is objectively not true
• The moment with him and Lisa, when she gives him the flower, is really cute
• The ending of the movie is a little rushed, and it feels incomplete, some of that is probably because we know the entirety of Steve Jobs’ life now. But also because instead of showing Steve get fired from Apple, which is what the movie seems to be building toward, they tell us through text. Which is a shame, I think Noah would’ve acted the hell out of that.
Bonus: the DVD features an introduction from Noah, and a trailer for the first Librarian movie
Ok and what if I once again bring up Omega!Robby going through twink death and thinking that Jack isn't going to want him once he comes back from the military. What if I brought up Robby desperately trying hair treatments to make it look soft and fluffy again, shaving his beard, trying every diet pill under the sun for that stubborn weight around his middle that just won't go away?
What if I brought up Alpha!Jack who's so embarrassed to meet Robby for the first time in ages. What kind of alpha can protect and provide for their mate missing a leg? What if I brought up the dread in the pits of their stomachs that doesn't go away after the reassurances when they reunite?
Let’s get this party started
because i cannot help myself… camboy carter has a sequel. posting on ao3 because the formatting and linking here exhausted me lol
read it here!
Belly belly belly belly belly belly
I can't describe the vibe but do you get it?
If I could go back in time, the only tragedy I would stop is Noah wearing that hat
Froggy, I have a very very very dumb question: I've rewatched season 2 of The Pitt like at least twice but I never really 100% understood what Jack meant when he hugged Robby and said "Don't make me look stupid". What did he mean by that? Why would he make Jack look stupid? Again, sorry if it's a really dumb question.
The thing about the format of The Pitt… we have to make a lot of inferences about these characters.
From the little bit we’ve seen, it’s clear that Jack and Dana are the people Robby trusts the most and they know him best. That’s why Dana is comfortable enough to really push back on him, and is really the one person in the department that can question the boss without any real possibility of consequences (not that Robby ever gives harsh punishments).
But that puts Jack in the position of being the person to defend him. Hence, why he’s the one Dana goes to when she knows someone needs to get to Robby before he leaves.
Being the boss, people are gonna talk shit and question Robby, that’s what employees do. So I bet Jack is the biggest Dr. Robby defender and on multiple occasions has justified his decisions to other members of staff. Including, any concerns raised about the “sabbatical.”
Jack has probably spent weeks telling people, including Dana, to trust Robby and let him take the time he needs, even if privately Jack is also worried about what Robby might do while he’s away. So “don’t make me look stupid,” is basically “don’t prove everyone right.”
That’s how I took it anyway. :)
I am thinking of you and your buddy a lot today ❤️🩹
To help get your mind off the pain of it I'd like to ask 33 about I'll be over you - which is my all time favorite fic ever btw and got me on the rabbot train like no other. Also maybe not just favorite line but fav period in their story? Fav to write also?
And 38 please!! I am hype for whatever is brewing in that beatiful brain if yours!
Take care of yourself 🤍
33. What’s your favorite line from I’ll Be Over You?
Maybe… when Jack says, “I’ll never love anyone but you.” I love the irony of it, but also there’s truth in it. He meant it with his whole heart when he said it, but you can’t predict the future.
Writing chapter 13 was great because it’s kinda the whole reason I started the fic. I wanted the angst of breaking up while in love. I also loved writing the end of chapter 20, Jack’s line gets brought back up, and the whole thing of Robby wishing he could go back in time, not to stop himself from breaking up with Jack, but to never meet him in the first place was also really fun to write.
38. Fic idea you’re most excited to get to?
The omegaverse Prince/Knight AU!! Once I’m done with I’ll Be Over You (I only have 2.5 chapters left to write!) I’m going to start on the ao3 version of my No Homo Rabbot series, but after that I’m doing the Prince/Knight AU and I’ve been looking forward to that for months :)
20, 35, 11 for the fanfic author questions?
11. Do you outline fics before writing them?
Yes! Extensively lol. You can find my outlining process here :)
20. What made you start writing?
In college, I majored in filmmaking, but I discovered I loved writing so much that I’d accidentally given myself a creative writing minor from all the elective classes I took. I used to write essays for fun, and I started writing fanfic after Squid Game s2 took over my brain :)
35. Favorite review you’ve gotten?
Any time someone says they get excited for updates from me! And on the rare occasion someone does a little “analysis” or appreciates a specific part of my writing it makes me extra happy :)
