"Brightly-colored flowers that are tubular hold the most nectar, and are particularly attractive to hummingbirds." ~Old Farmers Almanac These Phlox flowers are from my Grandma Ivy's former garden in the Village of Wheeler, WI. Over 11 years ago my mother transplanted a few of her faves from "Ivy's Place" before her passing. It brings such joy to not only see these plants thriving, but catching a glimpse into the circle of life through the beautiful pollination process with this hummingbird. I think I'll call her Ivy. 😉 #hummingbirds #pollinationpower #summer2018 #phloxflowers #RIPIvyLindsleyDaniels (at Apple Valley, Minnesota)
