I have an acquaintance who has been taking flat and uninteresting landscape photographs for over 10 years. Looking at the picture, I said rudely, “There is no growth or aging. This is a kind of miracle.” But like the crust of a continent that stores enormous strain energy due to mantle convection, his photographs store and cultivate a lot of criticism as energy, and one day it may become a huge earthquake that shakes the world’s photography world. But unfortunately, it’s unlikely that such a big event will happen while I’m alive.

鳥事接二連三地來，每天過得像個智障一樣。

沒想到，誠品台東店在這個月結束營業。 猶記得我當年幾乎是衝著這間誠品填統調的。 這次的歇業，多少也對應了我這些年在台東的處境。 從事鴿子這行，到台東還是一樣是隻鴿子。 不是打工度假背包客，也不是來圓夢的民宿或海景咖啡主人。 東海岸與縱谷平原是我們每天處理一堆麻煩事的地方， 領略欣賞美景是難得休息時才有的奢侈。 鴿子總有著不同於老百姓的無意義高標準要求， 別人衝康酒駕是我的事，請假後亂跑也是我的事。 到關於我自己的事時，就沒人在乎了。 只能在晚上沒人的辦公室用咖啡給自己找點樂子。

誠品敦南店也要在五月走入歷史。 去年返校受訓時，就特別抽空跑去那看了半個晚上的書。 自己畢業後並沒有在台北服務， 每次北上都是去享受潮流變化與文化衝擊。 討生活跟偶爾去玩是兩碼子截然不同的事， 當個台北的鴿子我想也不會多快樂， 但願我還是能夠在台東慢慢地找到自己的出路。
