RUP IS OFFICIALLY OUT OF PROGRESS HIATUS

RUP was mainly in hiatus for so long because of my mental health and me frankly not knowing what I wanted RUP to be. I have more of a picture of RUP and its story now, so, now that I have all that out of the way, game progress shall continue. I still need to figure programing and everything of the sorts but yeah.

Thank you to everyone that's been following the game to this point, I know waiting so long with no answers or anything about RUP was probably hard and for that I am sorry. The goal for RUP is still to have the first chapter done by the 20th anniversary of RS tho I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to pull that off. We'll just see how this all goes and thank you all again even if there isn't many of you 🙏

Riddle Underpass Updates; Log 1/24/26

New year means more progress! I know progress has been slow, sorry about all of that, school was lowkee kicking my ass.

As for RUP coming this year, I sadly think that won't be the case </3

I will still be making the progress I can of course, but please don't be too disappointed RUP doesn't come this year.

BUT i do have updates to share if I must.

Started a Riddle Underpass outline Docu

Started Constructing the rup trailer, hopefully THAT comes this year.

Got several pieces of music done for rup, which I will share some @mangomixes later.

Redid a few older riddle underpass osts, as they were practically ear grating to me.

Riddle Underpass is out of development Hiatus

All of Fives sprites are completed, meaning testing his movements is now available

OSTs for various chapters have been completed during the hiatus time and the current number of tracks completed is 73

Work for official reference sheets for the characters Joe, Fraizer, Greg, and Phil have started

Hey no update log this week because school is starting however I do have a biv sprite in the works so there's that.

So I've been thinking about this lately

I think when chapter 1 of rup is actually released, I'm probably going to delete some of the lore posts and stuff.

I won't delete animatics and stuff like that but I feel like explicit lore posts would spoil new players-

also some of the lore posts will be regarded as "Non Canon"

Things that I have done this week:

Both of 5s front facing sprites

Installed basicly everything I would need to program rup

Created several osts such as "Where are you"

That's all for this week, but I'll keep you updated (I won't work on weekends during the summer and won't work on Wednesday during school)
