I appreciate that they had the water level up for the holiday weekend, and to do that they made up for it by cutting down the flow the rest of the week. That’s fine I have the kayak for low water days, What I didn’t expect was how much further the water would drop while I was out there! Had to retract pedal power, use the paddles and still ran aground! Had to walk it to shore then carry to the trailer. Another moment I was wishing I had four wheel drive.

I saw that last one today when a Guy in a Ranger was pulling a boat up the ramp. His girlfriend hopped on the trailer tongue to put more weight over the wheels. No question no hesitation just got on. I had a Ranger and my girlfriend too would hop up on the trailer tongue the moment my tires spun. Those girls grew up around boats and it shows.

Anyway hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine checked all the boxes.
