he really laid out the fact that he had around 70 song ideas… 70… and then he only picked 10 to go on his album which means it’s literally hand picked to fuck me up? it’s carefully chosen to ruin my life? it’s meticulously organized to send all my organs flying into my throat? they’re the most important ones to him that he wants to show people and I’m seconds from death already?

His fans have always accepted and cherished his oddities, and no one could claim his image is curated by anyone other than him. The polo shirts and chinos first pushed by the label are just a horrible memory these days. He wears glittered boots and shearling coats and womens’ trousers, collects tattoos and modern art, loves motorcycles and Soul Cycle and scented candles and his mother, laughs way too hard at basic puns, and wants to spread peace and love. He’s wholesome AF. Nothing about him is ironic. Nothing about him is convoluted. If Harry Styles likes something, he just goes for it, and this single is no exception.

i’m just so proud of harry. for how far he’s come and how comfortable he is with himself. and for creating a fucking album that’s going to rock and i am going to love and not in a “i loved this boyband for way too long” kind of way but a “its really fucking good” kind of way

Okay but is anyone else getting soft come out vibes from these album/promo stuff? Like the general public might see it as him coming out without coming out? He's in pink water with flowers, something very feminine and for the general public men participating in femininity=gay

Maybe? I mean I’m not sure how the general public will take it, but I do know that working with this soft imagery where it’s all pink and flowery and soft is pretty much the opposite of what the general public expects of him at this point given how poorly he’s been treated in the press. Also, I think it’s interesting he keeps showing his back and never his full face. It’s kind of like his way of saying pay attention to what I’m saying and not what I look like. The addition of all the water themes is definitely giving off a “re-birth” vibe which could be about this new era of music for him, his solo career, a new lifestyle, or anything really. I’m super amped about it.
