white people be like
People with social anxiety will be able to relate with this easily
The three of them together, resting in their landscapes 1Â 2 3Â
women of color in musical theatre
"The more of us there are that are visible, the more commonplace it will become to people, and after a while, people arenât even going to think twice about it..IÂ play Laura Osnesâs stepsister [in Cinderella], the daughter of Harriet Harris, and the sister of Marla Mindelle, and not one person, not one reviewer, not one human being has ever said to me, âHow is that possible? You are Asianâ, you know. Itâs just accepted. And I sort of feel like if we can just get to that place with every show, we wouldnât have a problem. But, you know, we have to just keep saying, âWeâre here, we are here.ââ
- Ann Harada
Pop culture has affected feminism in a very strange way.
White people are fuckin monsters.Â
Smh.
âŠ.. but racism doesnât exist. I spit on tis persons existence
Im sorry but I found this funny as fuck đđđ
but the photo of blu and the other girl and the caption above that was made by a black person on twitter.Â
So even if/though a black person made this originally (which Iâm not sure of because idgaf who made it, itâs trashy as fuck; and then white people and everyone else reposted it) we really gonna sit back and act like what we as Black people in the US find beautiful just happened in a vacuum?
You really gonna sit there and think Black people talk shit about our Black features, not because centuries of brainwashing by white people was purposely done to us to make us feel ugly and inferior, but because people really think a 2 year old black girl deserves to be degraded.
And to that ashy fuck nigga who said he found this funny as fuck, fuck you you fucking disgrace of a child. Your Black mother should be ashamed.
-Holly
Donât blame white people when a black person made this to begin with lol black people got no chill
Oh shut the fuck up wit yo lil skinny ass
This shyt is getting out of hand. Its a fucking tumblr/twitter post. Who in the blue hell gives a fuck if it was a white person or black person who wrote this shyt. Both black and white people are funny soooo shut your shyt and just enjoy the fucking #ANONYMOUS amusement. #chillbruh
Believe me, this ainât a competition between which race of people are the âfunniestâ (bc raggin on a fucking two year old with anti-black sentiment is hilarious right?). Now go sit your ignorant point-missing ass down.
-Holly
Apparently you are the one who is missing the joke. Explain to me how am I the one who is ignorant? And Iâm sure my point was made and you ubderstood it well. It was only a joke. You make it seem likev its you or your child. Chill. It ainât you. And going back and forth with people over this is really petty. But maybe this is what YOU do. Im far from ignorant and I know how to enjoy a joke from here and there.
Oh you know what?? youâre right, I donât get the âjokeâ. So explain to us in detail why its funny. âïž
NOT EVERY PERSON IS BEAUTIFUL TO OTHER PEOPLE. I personally find her to be unappealing, baby or not. Yâall need to chill.
They thought using âunappealingâ would make them sound like less of an asshole or something.
Now tell me, because I genuinely want to hear it from you, what about her is âunappealingâ to you?
Now, true, what people find beautiful is subjective, but even if you donât find someone beautiful, what is the fucking point of saying so? And then to say so about a child?? A Black child, which is important to note because like I said earlier in the thread, you cannot erase the history of why Black features are treated as ugly.
-Holly
First off, Me using the word unappealing has nothing to do with me attempting to be less of an asshole. Just because people donât find her to be cute doesnât mean they are discrediting a whole race of people. I can agree with you that, yes, maybe people should keep their opinions to themselves, but in this case, that didnât happen.
I just feel like yâall look for shit to debate about to be quite honest. Not everything needs to be a fucking argument.
Do you want to hear that youâre right? Youâre right. You are. But no matter how right you may be, people still think what they want and say what they want.
But you didnât tell me: WHAT do you find âunappealingâ about Blue Ivy?
Not the fact that sheâs black if thatâs what youâre wanting to hear lol. She looks like her daddy. Her daddy is ugly too. Not all black people look like Jay Z. Not all black people are ugly. But some are. Just like every other fucking race
So what about Jay Z makes him ugly? And what about Beyonce makes her pretty? I ask because you said she looks like Jay and thatâs what makes her âunappealingâ, so conversely if she looked like BeyoncĂ© sheâd be âappealingâ.
Sure. Jay Z is a man. He has (if you want to get technical, black man) features, sure. Iâm not saying he is the ugliest man Iâve ever seen, but heâs not cute to me. The one feature I find unattractive about jay would be his nose. It takes up a lot of his face, as does hers. But Iâve also seen men with big noses who are attractive. Black men, especially. She does resemble her mother at times. BeyoncĂ© is not beautiful because of her hair or her skin tone or her body, sheâs attractive because her features fit her face well. I feel like yes, blue could grow into that and it would fit her and she could be an adorable adolescent but it doesnât fit her face now. And Iâm only speaking for myself when I say thatâs why I donât find her cute. Other people may not think sheâs cute bc her hair is natural and because sheâs darker than her mother, but thatâs not my reasoning. Iâm not against you, I just feel like youâre taking this to heart a bit too much
As a Black woman, yes I do take it to heart when little Black girls face anti-Blackness. *I* faced anti-Black shit like this as a child and I was the mixed baby people wish Blue Ivy was. So if I had to go through shit and Iâm more âidealâ, I can only imagine what a 1000000% Black child will face.
But, yanno, youâre focused on her beautiful nose.
This is a $35-$40 Trade Paperback.
Itâs basically a collection of hard-to-read, very well-sourced articles on some aspects of the material I cover on this blog. Itâs academically acceptable, but not very accessible.
First of all, the price. There are very few people...
important moments in history.
I will not ask you for forgiveness. What I have done is unforgivable. I was so lost in hatred and revenge. I never dreamed that I could love you so much. You stole what was left of my heart. And now Iâve lost you forever.
Where normal people have a heart, Neil McCormick has a bottomless black hole. And if you donât watch out, you can fall in and get lost forever.
