Okay but can we talk about how Barnaby apparently used Kotetsu's car to take the girls with him to Mattia's lab like?? Does he just have access to Kotetsu's keys? Did he just "borrow" them? Or did he like ask Kotetsu if he could use the car? lol

I think one of the cutest things the manga did for Tiger & Bunny was develop many of the relationships for the characters outside of what we see. Both the Comic and the manga. Things like:

Kotetsu helping Ivan with being himself to see Edward as well as writing out ‘Origami Cyclone’ for him in Japanese so he can be able to put it on his merchandise since he doesn’t know Japanese.

Nathan telling Pao-Lin that forcing herself to be more girly to make her sponsors happy won’t make them happy and Pao-Lin trusting Nathan to cut her hair back to the short hair she is comfortable with. (Also Kotetsu accidentally ruining it to the point Nathan’s soul just about left their body but Pao-Lin finds it cute and wants to keep it)

Barnaby taking the time to help Antonio figure out poses to use for a magazine shoot, to the point where he actually spends time practicing various ones to see which ones would flatter Antonio the most since he can’t show his face.

Kotetsu telling Barnaby to use an opportunity that Ryan set up for him to collaborate with Keith because Keith is a great hero, one who Kotetsu had worked with for a long time, and despite the experience Barnaby has gained he can still learn a lot from Keith. And in the end Barnaby thanking Keith for the opportunity as he did learn quite a lot from the hero.

Keith still thinking of Cis, using her constant ‘why’ to force people to confront their real thoughts and ending fights between people.

Keith and Yuri spending the day together looking for Keith’s dog John who escaped him, and Yuri trying to keep Keith from getting taken by people (people soliciting money from him, trying to steal his wallet, lying to him) and Keith explaining that he just wants to see good in everyone. Then the following day Yuri seeing all the positive effects from what he saw was Keith being naive.

Nathan inviting all the heroes out to get dinner together because they notice that the others seem a little down and wanted to give them something nice to do.

Muramasa and Kaede visiting the heroes at the training room and giving the older heroes some alcohol and the younger heroes non-alcoholic drinks from Muramasa’s liquor store.

Ivan and Pao-Lin learning about Barnaby’s birthday a day late and wanting to do something special for him but Barnaby doesn’t realize it’s a gift for him because Pao-Lin used kanji on the package and Kotetsu has to come and actually explain to Barnaby what it is because Barnaby can’t read Kanji.

For that matter all the cute little jobs that Pao-Lin and Ivan did together, including one where Antonio comes along to pretend to be a cow that got loose (Keith’s idea) for them to lasso to make the guests happy.

Karina getting everyone chocolate for valentines day and the slew of misunderstandings that followed (including Antonio and Karina assuming Kotetsu and Agnus are dating and Keith’s inability to read the room which is quickly scolded by the other heroes)

Or during the Jake incident, Karina gets a number of phone calls from friends and family who are worried and Pao Lin remarks no one ever calls her to see if she is alright and Karina just walks away so she can hide behind a corner and call Pao-Lin so that she can have someone call to ask about her safety.

And Ryan training with Pao Lin, pretending it was no big deal and he can handle it, partially to awe the others and partially so she can have a sparing partner since no one else will do it but admitting when he’s alone that it was more than he was ready for.

I just really love how we got a better look into some of the friendships between the heroes. Like we knew Antonio and Kotetsu were close, and there was a little bit of a friendship between Karina and Pao Lin, but it’s cute to see more!
