I was tirelessly searching the net HOPING to find some sort of summaries of the new Takano no Baai. Which is formally named Takano no Baai 2. (You don’t wanna know what I had to go through to type that shit in...or how I had to search for it…)
ANYWAY! I FINALLY found some summaries from the Japanese fandom so possible spoilers ahead. The reason I say possible is because my translation of these things can be faulty and not very well versed. Though this is a great Japanese language learning experience for me X3.
So without further ado...

But here’s what I got from it (below the cut of course):
Takano does A LOT of deep thinking here. There seems to be a scene where he’s in the room with Ritsu as he doses off (picking up from OnB 29).
Now what it appears is happening here is that we see Takano admonishing himself. Which will please many of us hoping that his actions toward Ritsu would be addressed (a certain scene comes to mind).
There’s a part where he even says “I should give him up if I’m going to hurt him”. So yes, Takano DEFINITELY realizes that he let his temper fly out of control. I’m sure he didn’t miss seeing the bruises on Ritsu’s arm as he lay there sleeping. There might even be a panel where he’s staring at it and this is where he begins to feel his presence toxic to Ritsu. ←- This is just a theory so take it with a grain as I have no raws yet.
Another note in the summary I found was that Takano had spotted the key in Ritsu’s hand when he fainted in the hall. Takano picked up on Ritsu wanting to come tell him something was wrong. “You wanted to come to my place trying to tell me you were in trouble?” or something to that effect.
Then after his reflection over what he’s done to him, he resolves to never do it again. Take better control of his temper in other words? “From now on, I’ll take care of you.” is something he said here. So now, maybe we can expect Takano actually respecting Ritsu’s boundaries in the remaining 20+ days? I mean, he COULD just be saying that because he’s there monitoring Ritsu as he’s sick, but since Takano has had some reflection of this whole incident, chances are the meaning is much deeper than that.
I don’t see anything about Nao possibly turning up as he’s there either...
It seems that Takano is also reflecting on his actions, not just in OnB 28, but since the two had met again entirely. “I always hold you back” was a phrase that caught my eye in this summary. Which if you think about it, since the beginning of the series, Takano was always pretty forceful in his pursuit of Ritsu.
In the beginning of the chapter, it seems Takano flashes back to his high school days. He admits that he was so desperate for love that he couldn’t help but fall in love with him...SO FREAKIN SWEET!! Ah but then it gets a little sad again as Takano said that he ‘got excited all by himself’ (Translation: I was the only one who was in love). This same exact thing was said by Ritsu in OnB 25, remember? This solidifies the statement made in the onsen arc where Takano said, “Each in our own different environments, looking at the same scenery, we were both feeling the same thing”

Something something about Kotetsu being Barnaby's emotional anchor and being the one who helped get his moral compass right.
Something something about how the foundation of their trust in each other came in the episode where they were trying to defuse a bomb and they couldn't, so Kotetsu made a way out and made damage control (not to the building lol) by asking Bunny to follow his plan.
When the situation is like a bomb about to explode, even when Barnaby is ready to go with it until he dies, Kotetsu is thinking of a way they can solve the situation without dying. That's why on the first season, Kotetsu was kinda driving in terms of having a plan: he figured out how to defeat Jake and was there to calm down Barnaby with his presence, he also figured out how to defeat that Fake Tiger robot and ultimately was the one who took down Maverick.
But in The Rising and season 2, it changes.
In The Rising, Barnaby has been working on himself and it shows. His time with Kotetsu has made a big effect, so it's Kotetsu's turn to be a little irrational and paranoid. Barnaby is not longer the rookie, the new guy. Kotetsu is having a life crisis we can all understand, because he doesn't want to be a burden to Bunny, he lost his job, he's losing his powers...
Still, when Virgil went after Barnaby, Barnaby was in total control and he admitted it was thanks to Kotetsu too. He was not a murderer, not someone going after revenge anymore, because he met a man so wonderful that gently let him back into the right way. And when Lunatic accuses Bunny, we see how angry Kotetsu gets, how protective. Kotetsu is always trying to work as an anchor to his family and friends, Bunny is not the exception.
Finally on season 2, there's no longer one or the other. The whole season is showing you in contrast just how suee they are with each other, how used they are to thinking alike and doing things together. Their perfect synchronization, how they do the same things without realizing it, how they act like a team out of nature... When the final fight against the twins break, it's not Barnaby or Kotetsu's plan, is theirs.
The advantage of seeing them through the eyes of the other heroes and characters of the show is that you're seeing how they truly act, how closw they are and how it is perceived. Because you're not in Barnaby or Kotetsu's pov, sometimes you don't know what is happening in their heads. You see them act and you marvel at how they practically read minds.
Barnaby has come so far, grow so much as a person. That's why his relationship with Kotetsu is now more mature, stronger, it is more sure in its own. They have become so much like each other that it's like they are always there, the two of them, even when there's Kotetsu or Barnaby ik the room, not both.
Maybe this is a hot take, but I think the crush Karina has on Kotetsu is actually a nice touch.
First of all, it is presented as a one sided thing, a love that clearly will be never reciprocated and therefore it's impossible. Karina is in no danger of being taken advantage of because Kotetsu is a) a responsible adult who would never get involved with a teenager, b) someone who sees her as a friend and treats her like a daughter, c) a real hero and a good man with a clear code of justice.
Having a crush on Kotetsu is one of the safest ways for Karina to explore her romantic feelings while growing through her teenage years. It was a crush born out of admiration and fondness. It'll be good to Karina to see and learn how she should be treated in terms of respect, since she's either way surrounded by pervert fans and people wanting to use her.
It also frames Kotetsu as someone who can be admired and desired by young people. Karina represents the Kotetsu most people doesn't have access to because only a few can really witness how great he is. She, as someone who understands how much Kotetsu means to the other heroes and how much has he done for the city, finds romantic attraction is such gentleness, in how Kotetsu pays close attention to the details.
Writing Karina as in having a crush on Kotetsu erase the eventual call for a romantic arc with her and give depth to Kotetsu as a character, as much as it helps to make Karina look even more human. It is normal for teenagers to have crushes on older people they admire, or simply daydream about an impossible and forbidden love, or search for someone with experience if they feel vulnerable or lost. The important thing here is that the adult in question won't mislead her, won't take advantage of the situation, won't hurt her or play mind tricks with her and won't let it get further.
I really appreciate how they write it all and how it played out so far. As for season 2, we have seen how Karina has matured. I also like how you can contrast how Kotetsu treats Karina and how he treats Barnaby, because there's a clear difference there that puts everything on the right place.
Jumping to immediately defend Barnaby whenever someone brings out the whole "revenge" story line that Maverick created for him.
NO BUT SERIOUSLY.
Kotetsu got so angry with Lunatic in that scene in the Rising movie, he was almost punching holes through walls while almost screaming that Lunatic had no idea what Barnaby had gone through or how hard was he trying to get better.
And Ryan not only witnessed Barnaby's response in the Rising about how he was not the man Maverick presented anymore and how he was not a killer neither after revenge, but his whole purpose was saving people; he also defended Barnaby when Subaru tried to bring back the whole conversation.
Tiger and bunny season 2 rights because they went from showing Nathan harassing Antonio to giving him an absolutely cute and respectful partnership with Keith.
Also, I think the comics are amazing and the ship Antonio x Agnes is the best thing.
I'm still thinking about how Nathan felt pressured in their partnership because Keith was so perfect, while Keith was pressuring himself too because he really wanted everything to be as smooth as possible...
We've seen how the hero job is almost everything for Keith (in the manga), and we know how much of Nathan's time is dedicated to personal things to improve the daily basis. Nathan, who's very carefree and easy going, with Keith, who's so serious and focused.
I want to see Nathan going out with Keith to have some fun or figure out what type of activities Keith enjoys the must. Not out of politeness, but really really personally enjoy. Buying clothes to his dogs, playing at the park, I don't know. Nathan can help Keith to feel more confident about his personality, while Keith can teach Nathan some ways to improve their heroes job as buddies.
Nathan, who loves mostly in riddles, needs to be more direct with Keith. They are able to see now a different side of the world, the side where Keith lives in.
I don't know, I just think their partnership is truly interesting in terms of contrasts.
