so when the show starts, nancy and steve have already made out a few times and he has a reputation for hitting and quitting. what do you think sent steve towards nancy in the first place? and what made him decide that he wanted her to be more than a notch even after such a short time?
NANCY WAS JUST A PRETTY FACE , nothing more , nothing less . she was someone who stayed just outside his realm , someone who seemed immune to the king’s charm . she was the shiny toy in the box he just so happened to realize he never played with . and that and that alone is how it started , by her beautiful face catching his attention as he stumbled into the library for detention with tommy , her nose buried over a pile of books . let there be no mistake , it was never originally suppose to go as far as it did . nor did he ever plan for such , things like that had never really been in the picture for steve and he never expected them to be . until it was . until she changed that , no matter how cliche that may sound . before nancy , steve’s inner circle was filled with very specific people and the girls , in his opinion , all seemed the same . the cared about the hottest gossip , latest fashion , when the next party was ,,, and while all of that was okay , it was something he was so frequently around that he became rather ? numb to it . he was bored to put it lightly which didn’t help the fact that he was , well , rather miserable . that’s why , in a lot of ways , nancy was a breath of fresh air for him and a bit of a wake up call to just how unsastified he was with not only everything around him but with himself . that’s when everything began to shift for him and before he knew it , mr . i don’t do real relationships , was falling in love .
