i miss some of you guys, but for the time being and after much back and forth, i've decided i'm not coming back to rp. at least for the foreseeable future. maybe i'll change my mind, but as things stand right now, it's not happening. i know i've been going back and forth on this over the past couple weeks, but the longer i'm away the more i feel that it just isn't for me anymore. so, once again, if we're mutuals and you still wanna keep in touch or do stuff on discord, you can add me (deathstroke the tax evader#0777).
maybe i'll just archive and move chris instead of doing a whole multi. idk like, i still want to write, and i have good threads in my drafts, but like i said in my previous post, being here just sucks so bad dude. and i'm more inclined to do stuff on discord these days anyways because it's easier anyways. still weighing my options because i'm not entirely ready to give up tumbly rp as a whole just yet, but logging on just instantly drains all motivation to do anything LMAO. and a multi just seems more and more like it may be too much to handle, so maybe i'll just move chris (and probably slade too but this isn't about him -__-) and keep the threads and dynamics i've already plotted out with people, and any other characters i wanna write will just stay on discord.
thinking more and more that the only way i will feasibly come back to rp in general is if i get my shit together and just make a multi to interact with, like, 5 people. but with how busy i am with union stuff (i.e., labor conference in less than 2 weeks, planning a picnic because we had to cancel our may day event since everybody had covid, officer elections are also later this month and i’m highly likely to be elected as financial officer so that will put even more on my plate) that isn’t super likely to happen any time soon.
i don’t wanna say i’m completely leaving rp because i probably won’t and when things settle i might do that aforementioned multi and hand it out to a very, very select few people. in the meantime though, i’m pretty much always down to do stuff on discord (deathstroke the tax evader#0777) and i’m also constantly on twitter LOL.

a few beats of a blank stare, and then chris erupts into laughter as if jack just told him the funniest joke he'd ever heard. “ man, what the hell are you even talking about? alpha? beta? didn't know you spent that much time on the internet. “ he shakes his head, grin wide enough to show off his dimples— probably the biggest smile chris has had on his face in weeks, and of course it’s at jack’s expense. even with the man’s efforts, chris doesn’t even bristle at his jabs.
“ don’t you think we’re both a liiittle too old for playground roughhousing? “ he asks, clapping a broad hand on jack’s shoulder— if chris appreciates the feel of warm, hard muscle under his palm, he doesn’t say so. but chris isn't stupid, and jack isn't particularly sly; he knows how the man looks at him, knows he's looking at chris like that right now. but chris feels a little mischievous; he gives a heavy, exaggerated sigh, tipping his head close to jack's, “ fine, fine. i’ll humor you just this once. go a round or two, get it out of your system. how’s that? “

urgent help w/ rent + bills
don’t tag. hey, i’m back e-begging again, i probably should’ve made this post like midway through last month but i hate doing this shit so much that i put it off for as long as i can. my landlord hasn’t beaten down my doorstep yet thankfully but i’m sure that’s coming in the next few days anyway, along with threats of eviction/changing the locks. both me & my current roommate are struggling financially right now, they work food delivery & broke their phone which left them without a primary source of income for a week / i do audio editing for a company whose boss is insanely flaky & entirely unwilling to pay me on time, raise my salary or give me more hours & we got hit with an insane electricity bill that’s double the amount of the previous quarter + extra. the full amount owed is astronomical & way more then i usually ask for so i wanna limit this to only around $600 or so & hopefully get some help from my roommate & my dad to cover the rest, if the situation gets dire i’ll let you guys know. i’m looking into some temporary summer jobs around the city as well & maybe also starting food delivery by borrowing my roommates bike so i hope, hope this is the last time i will ever have to ask.

to be honest it's crazy to me how many people either forget or just don't know that chris did NOT leave the air force on good terms, which considering the context of the time re: US destabilization of multiple countries etc etc, and chris's general (canon) anti-capitalist sentiments i think that's pretty important to bear in mind. like, i know the general perception is that he's a boot boy through and through, but that's just not the case lmao. at this point he IS kind of locked into something of a military-adjacent career, but were it not for the onset of bioterrorism as it's known in the RE universe, i doubt he would have stuck around.

So, I hate asking again, but there was a huge payment taken out of my disability card cause my mom forgot to give me a heads up about it. She doesn’t want to pay it all back and I need it for my daily necessities and health. I take care of three dogs and am disabled so I cannot work a normal job so I could really use some help with this.
