Bringing back Assad's quote about the devil's minion scene from ep 4 because I think it also applies to their scene from the latest episode. Armand drops this (apparently unplanned) bomb that he's in love with Daniel. And we clearly get the impression that he's leaving out a lot because him being in love with Daniel wouldn't make sense in the context of their only interactions being brief torture in the 70's and sitting through an interview in Dubai.
Then we get their scene from ep 5 and he drops bomb number 2, that he's been stalking Daniel for 52 years. So now we know that in Philadelphia, he gave Daniel a part of the truth but left this huge thing out. And now he's given him another piece of the truth. I'm in love with you and I've been watching you throughout your life since we met.
But it's still not the whole story.
