Like okay fucking not sorry if you think someone just playing around creatively is not cool or creative or talented enough?? You know you can give advice without being so fucking mean right. You sound like 2010s art ranters. Shut the fuck up. This is people's personal art you're not entitled to it. Jesus

Nobody is instantly good at things and we all need time and encouragement to grow creatively! Especially with the rise of genai, I want to do everything I can to support new artists and writers to express themselves however that looks like. We should all be doing that. People got a little too comfortable "consuming content" in fandom and forgot that this is a hobby space where people express themselves creatively. I want to see art and writing that people are passionate about, I don't care what skill level, the passion is the thing that interests me!! Connect with your fellow human beings I swear to god

Skill level doesn’t matter as long as it makes you happy! You’re allowed to grow and improve even if it’s not for professional work! So many people are so quick to judge, and it’s really rude for those same people to take that persons cool art and “fix it.” There’s nothing to be fixed, you’re just being annoying.

My heart absolutely hurts whenever an artist puts themselves down, and even more so when it’s because people keep giving unsolicited “advice” and they start to believe that maybe they’re right. FYI, some of those people aren’t even artists, they’re just fixated on the idea of what a person should look like to them. Your art is good and YOU need to be the forest person to tell yourself that. This is coming from someone who is still trying to get out of perfectionism and comparing myself to others. If you’re gonna take anything away from this, know that your art is an expression of who you are and what you enjoy, and no matter what, there is always a place for you to shine regardless of skill level! :)
