Card of the day: 7/29/21

The Tower tells us that it is time to let go of previously established structures. We must be willing to step out of the comfort zones we have built for ourselves in order to fly. This may seem intimidating at first but much like a dive from a diving board or a tall cliff, once you have taken the leap you will be filled with the calming acceptance of the choice you've made.

With the Queen of Swords on the bottom of the deck, it could be implied that this is a change you have been considering for a while. The feminine nature of the queen can lead us to want to maintain the peace in our surroundings and influence us to hold off large scale change.

These two cards in conjunction tell us that it is the time to act on the things we felt unsure of in the past, to trust our logic and our ability to plan our own lives.

While it may be intimidating at first, you will find that letting go of fear and acting on what you know to be right will leave you feeling not only liberated but more fulfilled in your life.

General Energy: July 28, 2021

8 of Cups: A card of introspection and retrospection. The man sits with his back turned to the cups he has collected in his past, his eyes cast out to the horizon in wonderment of what more could be out there to collect. He can't carry all of these cups with him up the mountain though. Does he choose to stay where he is, surrounded by the chalices he has already collected? Does he leave the past behind to venture to his new treasures? He is, of yet, not sure.

Wheel of Fortune: It is exactly as it seems, an ever turning wheel. This card represents the universal game of chance. When you decide to spin the wheel you do not know where it will stop. You will never win the fortune if you don't spin the wheel though. The figure holding the wheel can represent the need to take your fortune into your own hands. Hold it. Own it. Know that you do have control over the turns you take.

Page of Pentacles: Another card of contemplation, the page sits upon a stone holding his coin, seemingly lost in thought. What is he thinking about? This coin? The coins he desires for his future? How he will acquire them? In this card, the coin represents the earthly goals we have yet to chase. Dreams, ideas, goals, and accomplishments we are waiting to bring to fruition. The page builds the plan so the further court cards have a foundation to build on. He represents a new start. A new way of seeing.

Overall: All 3 of these cards come together to tell quite a story. Sometimes the path forward is not clear and we don't know what way to turn. Even through that insecurity and fear, we must be willing to spin the wheel and see what the universe has to offer us. Only by taking these kinds of risks are we able to see what we truly desire in this world, completely unhindered by the baggage we collected in our past.
