To answer your question, I think Strike would be horrified and guilty because she did technically stand by as the Elemental Alliance locked her entire species in literal tombs, while Pythor would be beyond angry and resentful at her, feeling betrayed as could be since, well, she did nothing to help him. She allowed him and his family and his friends to live through the horrors of being trapped for decades without food

It could be that the hood of Aspheera , often changes position and moves according to her emotions and expressions.

If she's angry, the hood may rise upwards. If she's sad, it may lower slightly. If she's relaxed, it remains in a neutral position, as usual.

Pythor sometimes coughs up blood but he ignores it and moves on with his day

Turns out prolonged starvation, getting eaten alive, shrunk, and magically grown back to normal size (spiritually???) isn't really all that great for ones health or biology

Whenever he sheds it hurts like HELL. The scales are rough due to the shrinking/growing, the starvation dehydrated him badly, and the stomach acids from the Great Devourer didn't help in the SLIGHTEST. He always gets the week off from whatever evil deeds he's doing.

I love this idea; I had imagined something similar. He wouldn't even be able to control himself if he smelled blood, especially considering his anacondrai-like appetite and the years he's gone without eating. The taste of the tribe he consumed has left its mark on him over time; he would feel a deep hunger, but he must maintain the restraint of a true anacondrai, not giving in to his instincts, even if they have to be hidden. The devourer's poison has also greatly affected his voice and vision, leaving him ill, but he is slowly recovering.

Finally, a trend that I actually like..

I liked it because of how well it captures the atmosphere of the cartoon the colorful, vibrant picture hides genocide, oppression, humiliation, and all the horrors that Toffee had to go through.. If the animated series was at least somewhat lenient toward the monsters, then they didn't present his death as a joke.. No matter how much evil he caused, he didn't do more evil than what others did to him..
