Riley’s  sitting  on  the  bar,  swirling  some  whiskey  around  in  a  glass.  Crystal  green  eyes  staring  right  at  one  of  the  customers  in  the  crowd.  Stripping  and  entertaining  customers  may  be  his  job,  but  Riley  has  always  been  picky  about  who  he  wants  to  approach.

Lifting  his  glass  to  his  lips,  Riley  downs  the  liquid  in  one  go  before  setting  the  glass  down  on  the  bar.  “I’m  goin’  over.”  He  mutters  to  the  bartender,  taking  one  of  the  bottles  of  whiskey  from  the  rack  above  his  head  before  standing  up,  a  coy  smirk  showing  on  his  lips.  

Riley  steps  on  the  first  table  in  front  of  him.  “  ‘xcuse  me,  comin’  through.”  He  speaks,  stepping  onto  the  next,  and  the  next  until  he’s  standing  on  the  table  Tony’s  sitting  at.  He  sits  down  and  smirks  at  him  as  he  places  his  feet  down  on  Tony’s  backrest,  one  on  the  left  and  one  on  the  right.  He’s  wearing  nothing  more  than  thigh  highs,  black  briefs  and  a  crop  top.  “Heya,  sugar.  Want  some  whiskey?”  He  asks,  holding  the  bottle  up  with  a  smirk.   Tickets  were  paid  for  upon  entering  the  bar,  after  that,  drinks  and  entertainment  were  free,  giving  him  the  freedom  to  play  with  any  visitors  in  any  way  he  wants.

He stopped and dropped down beneath a workbench and crawled into the dark beneath and behind some crates of tools and equipment and waited. He heard footsteps of automated droids patrolling through this area of the ship. Routine rounds, routine droids. All regular and standard and oh so ordinary. Hunk pulled up his map again to double check that he was headed the right way.

The message from Riley greeted him as his little wrist computer lit up. “Of course…” He huffed and settled down in his dark hiding spot. So that meant that he could not go through any door. And he couldn’t get to the vent system from here. Not that he could fit… That was more of a… anyone other than him type of route. So what the hell should he do now? He had no way in, no idea what he was actually supposed to do and no direct way of contacting anyone.

He was stuck! He was stuck on this dumb mission!

The paladin cursed beneath his breath and listened out into the corridor. The patrol had continued on. He had to move. next time they might check closer. Or even be more on guard than they already were!

He started to type a message back. Distraction tactics? Or stay put until the coast is clear? Secondary routes into the room? He needed something to work with. he was fumbling in the dark here! Okay not completely in the dark. He had a name and he had a map. He pulled out the map. The name would be useless but maybe he could find something on the map. No time to let his own feelings get in the way. He could deal with never having to see Riley again later. Maybe move to some nice asteroid somewhere and dig himself a little hole to hide in because who the fuck was he to question the great and mighty riley. Fuck this shit!

Hunk shifted beneath the workbench and  pushed himself out of his hiding spot. He peered around the room he was in and dashed for the outer wall to get to his next spot of concealment. He knew there was a supply closet to this workshop just a corridor down. He just had to get there.

After glancing at his wrist computer and seeing Hunk’s message, he glanced back at the captain. ‘’Guarding every door won’t be necessary. Just the ship entrances and exits. I want every patrol guard stationed at those.’’ 

He then began typing back. ‘Sorry! My bad, I thought the captain understood when I told him to guard all entrances and exits... but he thought every single door. If you wait a tad longer the guards should move to stand only near the entrances and exits to the ships, not to the rooms. So you will just have to avoid the main paths. I’ll give you another signal.’

He watched as the captain spoke through his communcation device to hand out the order Riley had given. ‘’Good. I will patrol the halls myself to make sure everyone is doing exactly as instructed. Including you. You are merely to control the ship, got it?’’

The captain nodded.

He typed another message to Hunk. ‘You should be clear. I will go ahead and unlock the door for you so you can get the system disabled.’

The intel was met with more silence. The paladin looking out the window at his side and focusing solely on the stars outside for the whole ride. Not giving any sign of having heard or registered what Riley had said. Hunk only clasped his hand around the seatbelt tightly and drew his lips tight as the ship lurched and flew. 

Wherever they were going it was over a lot quicker than hunk had anticipated. The castle must have moved towards the fleet during the night and morning. Hunk ducked down slightly as they entered the hangar. Just to be on the safe side if someone decided to look inside the cockpit from outside. He would just wait and follow the map after they landed. Peering outside he watched Riley leave the ship and speak to someone. Whenever there was a movement Hunk ducked once more. He could hear the footsteps of the robotic soldier and the hum of drone sin the air as they all began to leave.

Hunk unbuckled his belt and crept towards the door of the ship. He sat there and waited until he couldn’t hear a sound from outside. Then he held tight bracing himself for the moment that the signal would not appear… Or the moment when it actually did. Damn. After that Hunk drew a sharp breath and counted backwards from five. Then quickly he pulled up the map he had been given and crept out into the hangar. He glanced at his screen then quickly darted away towards his destination. 

‘‘The reason I’m here? Well, you have some guts asking me that, captain.’‘ Riley spoke then. ‘’I think you forget your place. However, since I am so generous, I will answer your question. I have reason to believe there is an intruder headed in your general direction. Make sure you protect all entrances. No one is allowed in. Understood?’’ He asked then. 

The captain saluted him and left to bring out his orders.  Riley quickly typed a message to Hunk’s wrist computer. ‘Entrances are being guarded, all of the soldiers and bots will be stationed there for the next couple of hours’.
