👑 ♥ so, dog man x kingdom hearts au anyone? or am i that insane

my thoughts of this au if you're genuinely curious:

so this au is Dogman, but with a Kingdom Hearts twist. shocker i know. but what i mean by that is this isn't just a one-to-one recreation of the whole KH franchise with dogman charas (that's pretty impossible for me to do anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), but rather it still follows some of the canon lore of DM but with some elements/plot points that happens in KH being referenced. so there are Keyblade wielders, heartless, nobodies, talks of light vs darkness, things like that at the very least.

i'm planning on making this into a comic, but this au will likely start off directly after the bomb incident and Greg and Knight are gonna go into surgery. while the two are unconscious, we go into Greg’s mind, revealing his Dive to the Heart. he looks around a bit confused until he hears and sees Knight’s heart coming in. Knight talks to him, eventually asking his beloved friend if he can take him in, into Greg’s heart. Greg agrees ofc and Knight’s heart goes inside Greg’s body. if you know the kh lore, this pretty much plays out just like when Sora accepted Ventus's heart into his body.

then we follow the events seen with the first few DM books. during this time Dog Man gets his Keyblade and starts fights off heartless and nobodies. Petey gets himself familiar with the darkness and eventually gets consumed by it. he also tried to get Li'l Petey into the darkness but it doesn't quite work bc that kitten has a pure heart, all full of light. (he's like a princess of heart!)

this is how much i can reveal so far. much of this au is still a wip! im trying to figure out the roles for most of the other DM cast (tho i am certain grampa will have xehanort's role hehe) the kh lore is freakin insane but im just crazy enough to make some connections between the two series LOL.
