Hello! Here’s my submission for @riordanversebigbang! It was really fun to write as my first pjo piece and I hope to write more in the future! Accompanying this fic is an amazing playlist by @callmejud3! You can find and listen to it here. Thank you so much Jude!!!

Kayla sat back down, having apparently gotten all the excitement out of her system. "We all think you're awesome. Will especially." She leaned back, watching her brother and smiling slightly. "He'll probably kill me if he knew I told you this, but he really does like you."

Nico followed her gaze, the reality of it all setting in. People liked him, admired him, even, because of Will and what he said. Will liked him. A flurry of those all-too-familiar butterflies swirled in his stomach, and he kept his mouth closed, worried that his next words might come in wings.

Annabeth was no stranger to packing tape or moving boxes or hastily scribbled Sharpie labels that may or may-not-be correct reflections of the contents of aforementioned boxes, and she certainly wasn’t a stranger to the feeling of starting over in a new place. She’d done this dance half a dozen times since she’d left her parents’ home at the ripe age of eighteen, but this time, she was determined to make a home. This time, she was going to stay awhile.

And Nico had been practicing.

It started off as a joke, mostly. Nico hadn’t actually intended to be seen in these clothes by anyone other than his boyfriend, but when he’d stepped out of his cabin expecting Will to double over in laughter and instead found him staring up at Nico as though he’d hung the stars in the sky, Nico had to make sure Will was just an outlier. An outlier with a really, really horrible taste in clothes.

Hi, this is my first time doing a bang in the writer role so I was wondering: What are the general guidelines for the prompts themselves? Around how long should they be, how much should be revealed, etc. Thanks!

a helpful way to think of it is to start with what the ao3 summary would be - then after that add a couple of sentences to expand on the premise a little further. if there's anything you don't want anyone but your team to know before the publish date then feel free to leave it out, but putting spoilers in the prompt is the best way to attract an artist who wants to make art for the coolest moments in your fic!

hi! was curious about the prompt claim thing? Is there like a set of prompts we have to choose from to write about or how does that work?

the writers will be coming up with their own prompts. then, once we have these organised into a spreadsheet, the artists will be asked to submit a preference order of which fics they will be interested in, which is the claiming process. after that's done we'll organise teams based on preference, with the end goal of making sure as many people as possible get a top choice fic to work on!

hey! i'm a writer for the mini bang, and I saw that prompts are due may 7-10. Does my mini bang piece have to be something created specifically for the bang, or can it be something I've been working on already?

If it's something that has already been posted (like a multichap fic that has already had several chapters posted) then no, but if it's a wip that hasn't been published at all, then go for it!
