We are a group of young people who only recently learnt of Childhood First and the work they do for children affected by trauma and we were instantly touched. Some of us felt an immediate connection due to our own childhood experiences whilst others felt deeply moved on a more philosophical level. That alone showed the subject reaches more people than many would think and as we read about the stories of the children Childhood First has already helped we saw the value of supporting those affected to help them cope as they grow older. For the next 6 months we will be holding a range of fundraising and volunteering activities to support and raise awareness for this charity; these will include us dressing up as Santa Claus, holding Christmas Jumper competitions, putting our wits together in a pub quiz and putting our cooking skills to the test in a series of bake sales. We would love you to get involved by taking part, making donations and even just by cheering us on! Together we can make a real difference to children's lives! Donate Here!!

Waitrose Update!

I have confirmed and put us forward for the Community Matters Waitrose fundraising initiative in Waitrose-Kensington which will run throughout February! ~Jen

Preparation for the raffle!

Preparation is ongoing for our raffle (closely associated with our upcoming pub quiz!). I have just confirmed some very generous donations from the Arch Climbing Wall and a local masseuse!! Watch this space :D

I went along to support the team at the (very successful) Santa Run and cheered them on as they completed the race. I am currently working with Rachel and Harriette to find a venue for our big event planned for February – a pub quiz!
