havent seen any updates in awhile are you gys still planning on opening?

Yes we are! one of our admins (Marv) is on vacation right now, we plan on opening soon after she returns. We welcome any member activity in the discord/tag, and I (Olivia) am here to answer any questions or take suggestions!

when vamps feed from humans do they kill the human?

vampires are able to feed without killing the human/creature they are feeding from but they are completely capable of draining and killing their victims. it has more to do with the vampires temperament and self control.

can we see a plot preview? are there going to be subplots?

right now we have no plans of a structured site-wide plot. our goal for riptide is to support and develop member created plots. after we open and things develop we might have an official plot or offer subplots - there will be organized site-wide events - but for now we want to know what you guys are interested in.

Will my witch be able to have their own coven?

yes. 

there are a few different types of covens in our lore. there are familial covens, philosophical covens, theological covens. familial covens are obviously decided by blood, not all witching families consider themselves covens but most do. 

theological and philosophical covens are similar. the former are religious - worshiping and paying homage some otherworldly deity. philosophical covens are formed by witches with similar mindsets, working toward a larger goal and relying on each other for support. 

so technically every witch can have their own coven - where there’s a witch there’s a way.
