After reading and enjoying Haunting Adeline, I kinda gave up on trying to justify my fictional tastes.

I love Dark Romances. I love Monster Romances.

I love so codependent that they can’t live a day without each other romances.

I love will kill anyone who tries to take you away from me romances.

I love it doesn’t matter what species we are, we love each other so deeply that it is barely noticed romances.

Are you a silent complex, morally gray character who chains your lover up when you think they’re plotting against your secret agenda? But then find out later it was a misunderstanding and say, “I’m so sorry baby, I’m so sorry I doubted you.” And then they live happily ever after?

Are you an alien or a demon, finding out that your soulmate is a human and you’ll do whatever you can to protect them from both your species or theirs to make sure you can continue to love them until the end of time? While also using really sweet freaking terms of endearments in your native tongue?

Like I don’t care. It’s a FICTIONAL love story. I don’t want healthy. I want soul crushing, soul binding, SOULMATE CRAP, that will just bring you to tears with how strong their love is for each other.

If I wanted healthy, non codependent relationships to read about, I’d read nonfiction.

I want to escape reality. I want to escape into fantasy and adventure to experience a mind blowing love story that will stick with me for the rest of my life.

Also, the smuttier the better. Just saying 😂💖
