I realize netflix cursed had many MANY faults, but I can’t help but feel disappointed we’ll never get the further development of Arthur and Lancelot’s friendship, how Lancelot would become his closest friend and companion right up there with gawain from where he begins as a villain who almost killed arthur to the start of his ‘redemption’ arc at the end of s1. We’ll never get Morgana battling with going dark and harnessing incredible power, but hopefully coming back to the light and having one of the first canon iterations of GAY Morgana in media further developed.

And there’s hope for the future but we how often have we gotten black arthur and Morgana (???), not to mention arthur coming up from poverty/not born into the royal life and Morgana leaving a convent- theres just so much there for a richly layered journey to where they may end up with arthur as king and Morgana a powerful sorcerer.

Not to mention any other potential romantic departures- what if the love triangle of Lancelot/Guinevere/Arthur looked a little different- what if Guinevere and Lancelot were both fighting for Arthur? What if Nimue and Morgana was further developed, or Morgana and Guinevere even?

We’ll just never know!
