The zombie apocalypse is all the residents of Rising Valley have ever known. It’s always been kill or be killed for most, while the others hunt for food or take care of their own back at camp. None of them know how the apocalypse started, stories never told of the beginning, but what they do know is it’s too dangerous to leave and so Rising Valley is and always will be their home.
