A moonlit affair ;

For the other’s day off he’d seemed awfully busy most of the day, and there came a moment where Lea realized he was alone in the house. He didn’t think too much of it—Though he did wonder where the other had run off to, especially since he hadn’t said anything about leaving. He decided to assume he was just going for a walk, and settled into the couch in the living room, left to his own thoughts for now.

He, of course, felt just the same as Isa. With both of them having hearts, and no longer under the stress of the Organization, he felt like he was on a constant, wonderful swing. It was like those cheesy fairytales he’d always loved as a kid. Where true love always won out in the end, and the princess always got her prince, all that cheesy, lovely crap he’d long since stopped believing in.

And yet here he was, helplessly in love with his best friend, free from the Organization, from everything that had ever kept them apart. He’d thought Isa was dead—and by some stroke of luck he found him. He’d felt like his heart would burst at that moment, and now it felt like the pressure had never eased off, every moment was one he wouldn’t trade for the world. Was this what the ‘true love’ in a fairy tale felt like? Somehow Lea thought it was something even better.

The knock on the door startled him out of his thoughts, and he dropped his legs off the side of the couch, standing and stretching as he began to head to the door. As he opened it to say that he was surprised to see Isa on the other side would’ve been an understatement. 

And he couldn’t help the idiotically happy smile that spread over his face. It was impossible to hide, and he didn’t even try, taking the other’s hand.

“Well of course you may.”

"Come." Isa cooed, pale fingers curling around the other's outstretched hand. He led his partner down the single doorstep and onto the path, never once taking his eyes off of him. Oh, how he loved this man. Everything about Lea was addictive, from that gorgeous smile, to the way he'd catch the wonderful smell of his scent first thing in the morning. 

They walked for some time, hand-in-hand, heading towards the very spot that Isa seemed to frequent so very often. Tonight was a perfect night. The wind was far from being too chilly, there were beautifully clear skies, and the full moon's pale light kept the area well-lit. A blanket sat atop their usual spot with a small basket laid out upon it. Next to that sat a pair of wineglasses and a small candle, just for any extra light if they needed it.

However, just as they stood at the bottom of the hill, Isa insisted upon covering the redhead's eyes. He led him up from behind, grinning all the while, before removing his hands to reveal their little late-night picnic. Shifting in front of the other, his hands were quick to grasp for the Lea's once more, desperate for even the smallest contact from the man he loved. 

"Figured it'd been a while since... We did something like this."

--More like never, what with the Organization constantly getting in the way.
