Heart leaping to his throat, Harry’s head snaps up in shock to see a person standing in the middle of the room. Someone dressed in a black sweatshirt that absolutely swamps his smaller frame and jeans that are cuffed at the ankle. More peculiar is the cat perched on his shoulder, blinking at Harry with luminous purple eyes.

“Who the fuck are you?” Harry chokes out once he regains the ability to speak, eyes widening as he realizes the carved circle on the floor is now glowing bright violet. “What the fuck is going on?”

The stranger simply raises an eyebrow, cat still on his shoulder. “You’re definitely not Cressida.”

The last thing Harry wants to be doing this summer is running his aunt’s occult shop while she’s away, but that’s where he finds himself, bitter and bored. That is, until a boy and his cat stumble into Harry’s life and turn it upside down.

ris do u have plans to write drabbles for tangled fic? i just watched Tangled: The Series - Short Cuts with my sisters and i miss ur tangled fic sm!!

ahhh i want to say definitely but i've promised so many drabbles and have only delivered on a few 😭 basically, i cannot be trusted shjksls that being said, i will say that i don't really ever close the door on any of my fics/worlds and always entertain the possibility of returning to them in the future whenever i have the urge so it's entirely plausible!!

in the meantime, i'm always open to requests and ideas 👀

sunday snippet

i don’t remember who the last person to tag me was because it’s been a long time since i’ve done this 😣 but i thought i’d share something because last night i finally got a chance to write for the first time in weeks! 

this is from a fic i’ve dubbed the “courting fic”:

“Oh, for fuck’s sake, I mean Louis,” Niall bursts out, flinging his arms wide.

Harry stops short. “Louis?”

“You heard me,” Niall says, crossing his arms.

“Is this a joke?” Harry asks, feeling the strange urge to laugh. “I mean, of course Louis would make a good pack luna — maybe even the best one — but you do realize that would mean we’d have to be mated?”

“Yes, I’m familiar with the practice,” Niall says flatly.

He knows that. He knows that Niall knows how pack custom works. What he doesn’t know is why Niall is suggesting this if he knows how pack custom works. “Then what are you saying?” he asks, a confused smile overtaking his face.

Niall just meets his eye. “I’m saying that maybe you weren’t so off when you gave Louis the moon necklace when you were kids.”

“What does that mean?” Harry asks slowly.

“Maybe your alpha knew even then,” Niall shrugs. “Or maybe that was just luck. But what isn’t luck is the way that you’ve never shown the same amount of attention or devotion to any other omega in the past seventeen years as you have Louis.”
