— just dropping by to say this is lil, formerly known as wutheringdevotion, with a brand new blog. so new, in fact, that the muse page is still a work in process. but shouldn't be a big problem since i'm keeping all my muses from the old blog and just adding some new. i'm on the process of moving threads from my other blog so if you get a random reblog from an almost empty blog don't think it's a crept. i'm very slow right now, as i'm working on my thesis, but would love to write with you!

Tigerlily found her grin growing even wider as she watched in amusement the way Monique seemed to freeze for a split second at the words she'd thrown her way. To the bartender's credit though, she was pretty quick with her playfully teasing remark which made the blonde let out a soft chuckle. "No, sorry I misspoke." She said, taking a quick sip of her drink before continuing. "I actually meant a gorgeous face - stunning actually - like a goddess." She charmed. She liked how cute Monique looked when she got frazzled like that. Of course it didn't slip past her the compliment the other woman gave back and inwardly smiled to herself.

She began to pout softly in disappointment though at the thought of Monique not being able to enjoy the show. Luckily not long after, the bartender spoke again and Tilly looked up at her, quirking a curious brow at first but as Monique further elaborated a grin swept across the blonde's lips and she perked back up again. "Oh my god! Why didn't I think of that!" She exclaimed as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Well shoot, I can just show you now - hell, you don't even have to pay me for a show." She said, waving a hand dismissively as she sat up from the bar stool, phone in hand a and making her way towards the stage. "You'll just have to give me your honest thoughts at the end, yeah?" She added glancing back over her shoulder and throwing the brunette a wink.

Grabbing a chair from one of the nearby tables, she carefully hauled it with her as she assented the three steps up onto the stage. Placing it at the front right corner of the stage, Turning it so it faced the curtains. "Come on up - I'm just gonna get the song ready and then I'll start." She explained as she moved to go behind the curtain where the sound setup was. Before she fully went out of sight, she paused and took a quick step back to peak around the curtain towards Monique. "Get ready for a hell of a show." She grinned before disappearing behind the draped fabric once more. After about two minutes of setting things up and with the song ready to start once she hit play, she called out to Monique again. "You ready?!" | @wutheringdevotion

"Goddess, huh? I like the sound of that," Monique teased with a little scrunch of the nose. In any other scenario, Monique would have pressed for a detailed description of what the goddess entailed, but considering the effect the blonde had on her, the bartender didn't think it would be wise to follow her usual route. It was one of the most exciting parts of her interactions with Tilly —having someone win at a game she prided herself on having mastered. "I suppose it's about time. I confess the only reason I come here night and night again is the ego booster I get from the cascade of compliments serving drinks grants me." Then, leaning forward as if about to confess a sinful secret, she added, "One thing you should know about me is that I'm very conceited." A musical little laugh preceded a shameless wink. Monique had never been shy; she wasn't about to start now. No matter how much her cheeks wanted to tint red in the presence of the dancer.

While Monique wasn't the kind of person that usually found pouting endearing, she had to admit that coming from the blonde it was rather charming. And so, a light, hearty laugh managed to escape through her otherwise closed lips. "I'd like to think of myself as a very gorgeous knight in shinning armour," she winked, adding an extra dose of exaggeration to it to make the teasing obvious. "Honest is my second name," she jested, already rounding the counter to grab a seat in front of the stage. Nodding, even though it was unlikely the dancer would be able to see it, Monique worked on getting comfortable for the show. When the blonde's beautiful face peeked out of the curtain, she let out the loudest wolf whistle she had ever been able to conjure, aiming for her best impersonation of Tigerlily's devoted fans. "Was born ready, baby!" She shouted back, laughing, as she waited for the music to start.

the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore is muffled by the loud music coming through the speakers, long legs swiftly make her way through the crowd to find herself a much-needed drink. parties had never been her thing, but the bonfire was a tradition, their way of celebrating the end of the school year. she's finally pouring herself a drink when a familiar voice catches her attention, delicate eyebrows furrowing in response as a hint of surprise paints delicate features. " - um, i'm sorry, what ? you're talking to me ? " she questioned, a weak, nervous chuckle escaping her petals. she knew exactly who he was, everyone at school did, but she doubted he had ever noticed her before. / @wutheringdevotion

large crowds have never been liam's idea of a good time — and yet somehow he has convinced the entire school, himself included, that there is no place he would rather be at than the infamous end-of-semester bonfire. the pungent smell of sweat and alcohol fills the air, and liam makes up an excuse that no one hears over the loud music before shoving his way out of the soon-to-be orgy. quick steps take him to the drinks table, hoping for a reprieve in the form of a cold beer, but instead finding a pleasant surprise. "are you okay?" it takes him a moment, half struck with the enticing thought that she is playing with him. "yeah, that would be you. usually i reserve talking to inanimate objects for the tenth or twelfth drink," he jokes, an easy smile dancing on his lips. her face looks familiar. scratch that. it feels familiar. in the same way coming to your childhood home after months away fills you with a warmth hard to explain. "drink?" liam tries again, head cocking in the direction of the many bottles and mixers.
